Ministry Team

Bill Adams – Atlanta, GA

Bill Adams was raised in the church, Baptist and Methodist, and has never in his life not known of or considered God in his life. In 1988 upon graduation from Belmont University’s Masters in Business program the Lord personally entered Bill’s life and called Bill to follow Him. That began a 29 year journey of following Jesus Christ and growing in the grace and knowledge of Him.

In 1995 the Lord called Bill to begin to go into the highways and hedges to preach the Word and in 2000 Bill became a full-time evangelist.

In the early years Bill preached at seemingly every concert, sporting event, parade and festival in Atlanta and simultaneously the Lord led him to travel to major sporting events like the Super Bowl, Final Four and Olympics to preach.

In 2007 Sports Fan Outreach [SFOI] was born as an effort to bring more Saints with him to preach at these sporting events and now through the SFOI George Whitefield program Bill is seeking men who believed they are called into full-time evangelism to join him to saturate the Western World with the Gospel.

Over the years millions of souls throughout the Western World have heard the Word through Bill’s preaching and the great delight of his life is knowing and preaching Jesus Christ crucified.

Bill is married and has four children. He is a commissioned evangelist of the Diocese of the Central States of the Reformed Episcopal Church, is a member of Church of the Apostles in Atlanta, GA and is presently enrolled in the Masters of Theology program at Union School of Theology [UST]. You can read Bill’s frequent theological thoughts at his blog: Bill Adams’ Theological Writings – View from an Evangelist.

Matt De Jesus – Glendale, Arizona

I was introduced to the Gospel message at 10 years of age. I went forward at my church, made a profession of faith, and was baptized- not fully understanding what I was doing. My road of
sanctification, like many of you can relate, has been a rocky one. As I grew to became an adult I learned intimately what God meant when He had Malachi refer to Him as “a refinerʼs fire…” (Mal3:2) as well as the passage in Proverbs that tells us He disciplines those He loves (Prov 3:12).

God was purifying me by ripping the sin, which I was clutching to so tightly, out of my hands. No discipline at the time is pleasurable, but needed. Needed to become a useful vessel that would honor God, not bringing a reproach to His name. This is an ongoing process until Glory.

After years of watching “On The Box” and “Wretched” I had the opportunity to meet Tony Miano. I helped him with several videos and I learned quite a bit about street evangelism. I was so inspired that I had to open my mouth as well to proclaim the Gospel. Iʼm now heading up a street evangelism team at my church and training others to do the same.

Iʼve been married to a blessing of a wife, Roxanne, for 4 years now. I have 3 children ages 29, 19, and 17. The Lordʼs providence is constantly amazing me in how Heʼs working in my marriage and with my children.

God has also blessed me with a video production business that Iʼve owned for the past 30 plus years. I produce national and regional commercials, corporate and marketing videos as well as independent feature films. I have also produced several videos for Tony Mianoʼs Cross Encounters Ministries as well as Apologia Church and others. Recently I started a faith-base division of my company called Sovereign Grace Media. It exists to bring the Gospel to a lost and dying world and to train those in the church through all forms of media.

Ryan Denton –  Thoreau, NM

I’m currently the Pastor of a Baptist Church on the Navajo Indian reservation in NM. Beginning in 2017 I’ll be preaching full-time on the streets and in the prisons of El Paso, Las Cruces, and Juarez. I’m the Founder and Director of Christ in the Wild Ministries, which focuses on preaching Christ outside church walls, hence “in the wild.” www.christinthewild.com

At 22 I was saved by Jesus Christ. I’d been living with a woman out of wedlock. I was using marijuana and whiskey nightly. My cussing would’ve humbled any sailor. I spent some time in jail. Then God gave me a curiosity for the things of Him. I started to wonder about my soul. I started reading the Bible. I became convicted of sin. Within the month I moved out of my girlfriend’s house, telling her something strange was happening but I didn’t know what it was. One night I took a walk in rural New Mexico and looked at the stars and it was like I saw them for the first time in my life. The scales fell out of my eyes. The glory of God pummeled me. The reality of Christ’s death and resurrection clenched me. The Holy Spirit had sealed me. God’s presence became warmer and more tangible than any drug or woman I’d ever known. Eventually the outward sins had vanished, the boozing and the smoking and the whoring and the cussing, but I became aware of an even fiercer battle between sin and holiness that was taking place in my thoughts. This warfare continues today, as each day I labor to become more conformed to the image of Jesus Christ, and as each day my flesh attempts to resist me.

Shortly after this I graduated from UNM in Albuquerque with BA’s in Philosophy and English, then St. John’s College in Santa Fe with a Master’s degree in Philosophy. The repulsion and futility I’ve since felt towards secular academics and the world’s ambitions catapulted me into the sole pursuit of preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ, which I’ve done ever since, through the grace of our Lord.

John is also the pastor of Paul Congregational Church in Paul, ID. He has been preaching and teaching the Word of God at Paul Congregational Church since May 2016. Robert Gray – Colorado Springs, CO

Robert grew up in a Christian home in Portsmouth, NH and believed himself to be a Christian for 14 years until he realized he wasn’t saved. God granted him faith and repentance in 1998 and he’s been indebted to Christ growing and maturing in God’s mercy and grace ever since. He counts it all joy to serve Him in whatever capacity needed in order to give Him all the glory.

Robert became a full time evangelist 16 August 2009 after serving for 20 years in the United States Air Force. He is home based out of Colorado Springs, CO. He attended Living Waters’ Ambassador’s Academy in October 2008 and is an experienced evangelism team leader, serving teams for the Ambassador’s Academy, “The 500,” JeremiahCry Ministries, Thunder Over Scotland Tour, Super Bowl Outreaches in Dallas, Indianapolis and New Orleans where he was also a speaker and as a leader for a number of other outreaches around the country and the world. He is a member of Cross Country Evangelism (crosscountryevangelism.com) a ministry carrying the gospel of Jesus Christ across the United States and countries around the world distributing gospel tracts, one to one witnessing and open air preaching. He also conducts evangelism training and mentors and disciples open air preachers.
