Bill Adams – Chattanooga, TN
Bill Adams was raised in the church, Baptist and Methodist, and has never in his life not known of or considered God in his life.In 1988 upon graduation from Belmont University’s Masters in Business program the Lord personally entered Bill’s life and called Bill to follow Him. That began a 27 year journey of following Jesus Christ and growing in the grace and knowledge of Him.
In 1995 the Lord called Bill to begin to go into the highways and hedges to preach the Word and in 2000 Bill became a full-time evangelist.
In the early years Bill preached at seemingly every concert, sporting event, parade and festival in Atlanta and simultaneously the Lord led him to travel to major sporting events like the Super Bowl, Final Four and Olympics to preach.
In 2007 Sports Fan Outreach [SFOI] was born as an effort to bring more Saints with him to preach at these sporting events and now through the SFOI George Whitefield program Bill is seeking men who believed they are called into full-time evangelism to join him to saturate the Western World with the Gospel.
Over the years millions of souls throughout the Western World have heard the Word through Bill’s preaching and the great delight of his life is knowing and preaching Jesus Christ crucified.
Bill is married and has four children. He is a commissioned evangelist of the Diocese of the Central States of the Reformed Episcopal Church which is part of the Anglican Church of North America and is presently enrolled in the Masters of Theology program at Union School of Theology headquartered in Oxford, England. You can read Bill’s personal theological thoughts here: Bill Adams’ Theological Writings: Views from an Evangelist.
Rachael Adolphs – Sunbury, OH
I thank God for His grace in saving me. I grew up in a Christian home, attending church and Awana regularly. My parents were very faithful in teaching me about God and I trusted Jesus for salvation at a young age. Now, I attend Grace Polaris Church, where I am a member and am involved in various ministries. I like reading, being active outdoors, and spending time with my friends and family. I also enjoy being involved in local ministry in the Columbus area. I am attending the Kentucky Derby Outreach for the first time, with my boyfriend Joshua. I decided to participate in this outreach so that I can learn how to better interact with unbelievers in order to point them to Christ. I hope to have spiritual conversations during the outreach and I hope to see people come to know Jesus as Savior.
Ray Aldridge – United Kingdom
I live with my lovely daughter Charlotte.
Initially brought up as a Jehovah’s Witnesses, my experience with God was a very strange one. I never felt a true relationship with our Lord and let certainly there was no real spiritual experience, It took many years after leaving the JWs that maybe I had not given God a chance and perhaps I needed to find out for certain, especially over that time so many questions remained unanswered. I prayed for a response that God was real, and to my amazement and joy. he answered. and has continued to do so. It was not long before God revealed to me my calling to reach out to JWs and beyond, and I believe this is to be extended in a more evangelistic capacity, hence my interest in public preaching.
George Alvarado – Cheyenne, WY
Before I was genuinely saved on January 11th, 2004, I was falsely converted 8 times. I was like the majority of people in western Churches today. I made many decisions to be a Christian, but none of them were a sovereign work of the Holy Spirit. After I was regenerated through repentance and faith, I had received orders to move to England since I am enlisted in the United States military. Being newly married, in a new country, and a new convert was quite a shock for my wife and I, but that is one of the ways God rapidly grew me.
Being stationed in England was both wonderful and trying. I immediately began to share my faith with my co-workers, family, friends, and strangers on the streets of Newmarket, Cambridge, and anywhere else I could tell someone about Christ. The trying part was the immense amount of opposition I faced from both believers and unbelievers when I preached the biblical gospel. It was Hell’s Best Kept Secret that boosted my understanding, but praise God that it was already natural for me to evangelize. And it was two years later, after my salvation, that I was overcome with conviction to preach in the open air. And that calling has gripped my heart ever since!
During my time overseas, God allowed me to preach as a Sunday school teacher for ages 12 and under, inside military confinement facilities, during worship services, as well faithfully preach in the streets of Cambridge on a regular basis. It was through the ministry in Cambridge that I was able to equip and train aspiring open-air preachers and saints for the work of the gospel. Afterwards, I received orders to return to the U.S. where I have continued this work and have been able to preach in many cities and public events. Since my return, I have also had the privilege to author a book, write blogs, record internet-radio podcasts, work with church plants, meet with other open-air preachers, and organize evangelism outreaches. Not to mention that God has blessed me with the incredible experience to serve 15 years now in our nation’s military, and be a witness to men & women of power as well as men of low estate.
This will be the second time I have attended Super Bowl Outreach, but the first time as a team leader. I am honored to receive this responsibility and am praying for the gospel to bring revival to the city of Houston for Super Bowl 2017.
Saki Arthur – Duluth,GA
In July 13, 2010, I started Good News Evangelism Ministries which eventually became Gospel Street Ministries. I currently open-air preach at the Gwinnett Justice & Administration Center in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
After graduating from Liberty University in ‘99’ with a BS in Communications, I enrolled at Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary to pursue a degree in Masters of Arts in Religion. After my scholarship ran out, I felt the Lord was leading me to leave seminary and head back home to Mansfield, Massachusetts. It was in Mansfield, Mass, that the Lord reaffirmed his calling on my life and prompted me to open-air preach. However, I didn’t start open-air preaching until I moved to Georgia and met Keith Higgins, Bill Adams, Bobby McCreery and several other evangelists.
I currently attend the International House of Prayer in Lawrenceville, Georgia. I’m involved in I.H.O.P’s evangelistic outreach to the students of Georgia Gwinnett College.
John Arnita – Matamoras, PA
My name is John Arnita, I am currently a college student at a local community college in New Jersey and will be attending a different university in the fall for Nursing. I came to Christ while I was stationed in Monterey, California after being a false convert for about two years. Prior to that, I was a person filled with greed, lust and had a huge ego. Being separated from God, I was a miserable person, however now I have joy that does not come from my situations or who I am but from God who is constant, the same today, yesterday, and forever. My joy comes from Christ and what he did on the cross not just for myself but to everyone who believes and comes to repentance. This will be my first Superbowl Outreach.
Al Baker – Birmingham, AL

His ministry is in Birmingham, AL serving in many areas as an Evangelist with Presbyterian Evangelistic Fellowship (PEF) and as Director of the Alabama Church Planting Network (ACPN). He is also the author of Revival Prayer: A Needed Paradigm Shift in Today’s Church.
Prior to this he was Senior Pastor at Christ Community in Harftord, CT; Senior Pastor of Golden Isles Presbyterian Church for 10 years. Al has been actively involved in foreign missions to Central America, Africa, The British Isles, Asia and the Far East.
Al and his wife, Wini, have been married 40 years and have three grown children, Andrew, Allen and Jeff, and nine precious grandchildren.
Bryan Braddy – Wakeforest, NC
My name is Bryan Braddy. I am 37 years old and I live in Wake Forest, N C. I been married for 11 years to my wonderful wife Emily, and I have (3) kids: Colin (16), Aidan (10), and Dylan (7). I am a project manager for a local general contractor names Resolute Building Company in Chapel Hill, NC. I came to know Jesus Christ just last January of 2014 after moving to Wake Forest from High Point, NC and finding our current church at Richland Creek.
My brother Zack has taught me, by taking me with him to parades and other local events around Raleigh, NC how to evangelize on the streets and other universities. I enjoy sharing my faith with others and look forward to opportunities at these events to speak about Christ.
I love to run, go to the beach, and spend time with my family.
Zack Braddy – Wake Forest, NC
My name is Zack Braddy. I am 34 years old. I live in Wake Forest, NC. I have been married for 11 years to my beautiful wife, Kim, and I have 4 children: Halie (9), Peyton (6), Lucas (5), and Ava (1). I work for Wells Fargo in Real Estate Technical Services. I came to know Jesus Christ 14 years ago at East Carolina University through the campus ministry of Campus Crusade. I have been privileged to go on several mission trips making Jesus known, including two summer projects with Crusade, and several trips to Europe, Africa, and southeast Asia.
I became passionate about street evangelism and reaching the lost in this way in 2008, largely due to the ministry of LIving Waters and Ray Comfort. I have attended a couple of Ambassador’s Academies, and upon returning home to Raleigh from those trips, have begun to open air preach on a weekly basis at a local abortion clinic. I also frequent a local university in my area, and enjoy preaching Jesus at the local parades and other events. I love to workout, play sports, go to the beach, and spend time with my family. This will be my 2nd Super Bowl outreach.
Darryl Bradford Jr. – Southfield, MI
I grew up in the church and at a young age I professed Christ but not necessarily wholly in my life especially in my teenage years. It wasn’t until shortly after I got married in 2008 that I began to see my sin specifically for what it was through watching the television show Way of The Master on the internet. The law of God began to convict my heart and I saw myself as exceedingly sinful and finally realized why I needed Jesus to save me. Although I don’t know the exact date, it was somewhere in that process that the Lord saved me! Since then I began to grow in my faith and my wife and I attended Living Waters’ Ambassador’s Academy back in 2010. The Ambassador’s Academy greatly helped assist me in learning to share the Gospel with others. I currently, with the approval and accountability of my pastor, share the Gospel by passing out Gospel tracts, doing outreach at a local community college in the same city as my church, and trying to reach people for Christ by going to an abortion clinic down the street from where I live on Saturday mornings. I’m looking forward in fellowshipping with others, learning, and sharing the glorious Gospel at this year’s Super Bowl outreach!
Angela Braxton – Brooklyn, NY
My name is Angela Braxton and this will be my 5th Super Bowl Outreach. I was unsaved up until 2004 as the Lord used September 11, 2001 to bring me to my knees in repentance and faith in Him alone through His work of Sovereign Grace in my heart as I had worked at 1 WTC, on the 80th Floor and was at my desk when the first plane hit our building (long story…) In 2005, through the providence of God starting watching “The Way of the Master” by Living Waters through Wednesday night training at my church and my entire walk changed. Since 2006, I started to biblically evangelize the lost and for the past 2.5 years, on Saturdays I am also a sidewalk counselor at the 2nd largest abortion clinic in the U.S. My desire each day is to hand out tracts, evangelize the lost and proclaim Christ and Him Crucified and Resurrected for the sake of the souls of men and for the Lord’s glory! I’m so excited as the SBO is my favorite event each year as its 4 days of joy-filled boot camp.
I look forward to seeing and loving on my brethren again and meeting new saints and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ at this amazing event! What a sweet time each year!!!
Soli Dei Gloria!!
Dorothy Boyett – Lubbok, TX
I became a Christian in the 70’s,. attended church faithfully and engaged in all the activities although I only shared my faith when asked. When I read Hell’s Best Kept Secret I understood true Biblical repentance versus false conversion. I started handing out tracts and enrolled in the school of biblical evangelism on-line. After attending the Great News Network boot camp in 2004 my life took on a new role I was now “going out of my way” to engage people in Biblical conversations.
I heard about the work Bill Adams was doing with Sports Fans Outreach and signed up for the Super Bowl outreach in Dallas. Since then I have attended several and had the opportunity to go with a team to my native England for several evangelistic events.
I am a member of Temple Baptist Church in Lubbock, Texas. Each week I go to Texas Tech University to hand out tracts and do one-to one witnessing.
Jason Bradshaw – Riverview, MN
Hi I’m Jason Bradshaw. I’m 34 years old. I’m married to a blessing from the Lord named Kelly. We have been married for almost 5 years. We don’t have any children but we have a dog that we treat like a son lol. For roughly 20 years I believed I was a Christian, but after practicing a lifestyle of deliberate sin against God, the Lord granted me the gift of repentance and faith! My life has never been the same. I finally realized that the sinner’s prayer does not save. King Jesus saves! I’m so blessed and forever grateful to be adopted as one of God’s children. I’m a recruiter by trade, but the Lord has ignited a strong desire in me for evangelism. It still amazes me to this day that the Lord would give me so much joy in sharing the Gospel! I’m so blessed to be able to share this passion with my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ! Praise Jesus!
Joseph Bunny – Chatsworth, CA
Although I grew up in a Christian church, I never lived like I was taught to live. I knew the Bible very well but never responded to its calling. I felt like the “religion” was forced upon me, yet little did I know it was a lifestyle. God showed me that three years ago and my life has changed ever since. Thanks to my church; my family; and of course, my Lord; I am the Christian God wants me to be.
I am a full time student at high school and this my first time at this outreach. I hope I can change the life of others as Christ changed me. I also hope to learn from the others going.
God saved me from false conversion about six years ago, while I was attending college. Since then he has given me a love for studying the Scriptures, theology, and apologetics. God has also put a passion in my heart to bring the Gospel to the lost and proclaim the truth found in His Word. Two years ago, God, through the exhortation of brothers, convicted me about my apathy toward the murder of the preborn. I am now involved in fighting for the abolition of abortion, and using the Gospel as a weapon to confront sin in our society and point sinners, of whom I am the worst, to the cross of Jesus Christ.
I work full-time as a software developer and preach the Gospel and study when I can. This will be my first time at the Superbowl Outreach and I look forward to the fellowship I will have with the godly men and women that will be involved. I also look forward to learning from my brothers and sisters. May God be glorified in this endeavor and may he save his elect.
Alex Burt – Bethlehem, GA
My name is Alex Burt. I am married to a wonderful woman named Kim and we have two children. Kaitlyn is 21 and Luke is 16.
God found it in His mercy to save me in 1997 and I almost immediately felt the calling to take the Gospel of Jesus outside the four walls of the church. I remember hearing an old preacher say: “I hear all these young preachers complaining about not having anywhere to preach! Last time I checked, there was still a sidewalk out there!”
Although I didn’t realize it at the time, that triggered something inside me and before I knew it, I was outside our local Courthouse the first Saturday of every month preaching.
God really messed up my “normal” Christian life when I ran across Ray Comfort and his teaching, “Hell’s Best Kept Secret”. After hearing that sermon and listening to it many times I knew God was calling me to open air evangelism. My job relocated my family to Arizona in 2004 and while living there I was able to attend the Ambassadors’ Academy in California. Immediately following the academy I began going to Mill Avenue, which is right beside Arizona State University, and sharing the Gospel on Saturday nights.
In God’s providence we relocated to Bethlehem, Ga. in 2009, with the University of Georgia only 20 miles away. I am blessed to be able to share the Gospel through tracts, one on one conversations and open air preaching in downtown Athens on Friday nights and before home football games.
2 Corinthians 5:21
Alexander Calisher – Salida, CA
Adopted from St. Petersburg, Russia, Alexander Calisher grew up in a loving Christian home. Raised by a godly stay-at-home mother and a hard-working father, it was not a challenge to know about God. However, as Alexander would later learn in his young life, there is an eternal difference between knowing about God as compared to knowing God! After steeping himself in boatloads of immorality around the age of fifteen, two and one-half years later the ship sank as he realized that saying you believe something is not the same as living it out. In the summer of 2014, Alexander by the grace of our Lord came to his senses and repented of his sins thus becoming an adopted son of the King!
Now, after many years of growing in the Lord and His might, Alexander seeks to honor the Lord in all he says and does. Aside from practical personal living according to Biblical standards, evangelism is probably the number one way Alexander tries to live out his faith. After all, true “love can’t stay silent!” As of 2016, Alexander has followed on with the calling to begin The Strait and Narrow Way Ministries, a name quite appropriate for his testimony and passion! This ministry is a college and community outreach ministry specializing in sharing the Gospel through discussions on worldviews. Please pray that the Lord grows Alexander through the ministry bestowed to him and through the lives that touch him. thestraitandnarrowwayministries.org
Taylor Callen – Fort Worth, TX
I was born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana, and now I’m a Junior at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX. I’m studying theology and I hope to pursue pastoral ministries when I graduate. When I was a sophomore in high school I had this ever present desire to reach out to the lost but I had no idea how to do that. Then, I got into Biblical Evangelism after I saw 180 movie and I’ve been motivated to bring the Gospel to the streets ever since. Three years ago at the outreach in New Orleans, I broke the sound barrier for the first time and I have been street preaching ever since. I live in the D/FW metroplex so I am consistently a part of evangelistic outreaches in this area. So, I’ll see you guys out there! Soli Deo Gloria, et semper reformanda!
Joseph Carmichael – Montgomery, AL
Joseph V. (Josh) Carmichael. Born in Enterprise, Alabama. Educated at the University of Alabama, Reformed Theological Seminary, and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. I am a minister in the Presbyterian Church in America. I live in Montgomery, Alabama and serve as pastor of New Covenant Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Selma, Alabama. Pamela Carney – Farmington, MI
My name is Pam Carney, and I was born in 1970 and born again in September 2012. I love Jesus and live to serve Him. He saved me when I was unmarried, and as I remain in the condition in which He saved me, I am free to have undivided devotion to Him. Therefore I am free to be used by God for the work of evangelism, which I love! My purpose in life is to serve Him, as long as I physically can, in this way.
I have no children and live in the Detroit Michigan metro area. I worship and serve at a reformed Baptist church. Besides witnessing at sporting events with the brethren, I witness outside of abortion clinics and various festivals during the year. By God’s grace and the Holy Spirit power, I am able to share the Gospel at my job and also whenever the Spirit leads me. May God be with you!
Jamie Clark – Lexington, SC
I was a false convert for most of my life, demonstrating no fruit nor love for the things of God. In 2003, a brother shared the Gospel with me, and, by God’s grace, I was brought to repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Since that time, He has put on my heart a profound burden to reach out to a lost and dying world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, knowing that He is man’s only hope. This has been manifest more and more in the increasing desire to proclaim His Gospel in the open air. With the blessing of our pastor, I will be participating with SFOI SBO 17 for the first time. I am humbled by this opportunity to proclaim the Gospel in this setting, as well as to fellowship with, and learn from Godly saints who love the Lord and the lost. The Lord has blessed me with a wonderful wife, Kathy, and two children.
John Coble – Nashville, TN
My name is John Coble and I live in the Nashville, TN area with my wife, Cara. In October of 2008, I was experiencing severe back pain and went forward for prayer at a special “worship and prayer” service at my church. When the woman who was praying for me touched the place where my back hurt, God clearly spoke to me in my spirit and said, “Not now, but it’s OK”. The woman kept praying and prophesying over me that God was going to give me more spiritual authority and use me to proclaim the gospel and that people would be saved through me. Ever since then, I have had a burden for lost people and for sharing the gospel. (My back is better now, after months of physical therapy.)
I didn’t have a clue where to start learning about evangelism, but *somehow* my Tivo DVR recorded “The Way of the Master” TV show. I had never heard of the show or Ray Comfort until then. This put me on the right track, and in 2010, I had the tremendous blessing of getting to attend Ambassadors’ Academy (#13) and as a result got connected with Bill Adams and Sports Fan Outreach Int’l.
Since then, I have preached before most of the Titans home games and attended 4 Super Bowl Outreaches. I regularly preach on the sidewalks and outside special events on weekends in downtown Nashville. I also preach on college campuses whenever I can. Proclaiming the Good News has been the most exciting, terrifying, meaningful adventure I can imagine. I am in the process of raising support so that I can devote more time and energy to evangelism.
Gerry Collins – Bakersfield, CA
I was not brought up in a Christian home and was influenced for the Gospel by other family members attending church where the Gospel was proclaimed. I made a profession of faith at around 14 years of age but soon that profession was placed on the back burner during my teen years. While in the Air Force as firefighter at age 20 God had me surrounded by Christians who shared the truth with me and this is the point where I truly believe God saved me and changed my heart for Him. AT around 2003 the Lord caused me through His word to fall in love with the Gospel all over again and gave me a hunger to share Christ with the lost more than I ever had before. I have been greatly encouraged in faith and desire to share Christ by the ministry of Livingwaters/Way of the Master. I have attended Ambassadors Academy which has opened up for me to participate in street evangelism. I am married wonderful woman and have 5 grown children. My desire is share the Gospel with as many people as possible as God allows.
My Name is Brackston, I currently reside in Bloomington, IL with my Wife Amanda and our three children. We have been married for almost 9 years. I am a retired U.S. Army Veteran with 2 combat deployments to Iraq. I am a previously professing backsliding Atheist/Agnostic. The first time I came to Church was when my wife tricked me into going by telling me we were going to an Ice Cream Social, but God was dealing with me far before that during Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation shortly before I left the Army. I spent most of my life addicted to some sort of Drug. I needed inebriation almost constantly because I did not want to face the absurdity of my World Views. You know the story, I blamed God for all of the bad things in my life – But refused to worship him or give him Thanks. But, God had mercy on my soul by putting people in my life who were not afraid to tell me the truth of my ways and rebuke me. After a very traumatic PTSD episode which involved me attempting suicide by Jumping out of a moving vehicle and resulted in a severe hospitilization – I came to the end of my rope after my Pastor came to visit me and sternly told me – I am not allowed to test God. I still struggled with full repentance, I was counting the cost I guess you could say. But, God Finally opened my eyes in the end of 2015 and he began to start ripping all of the idols that I had, out of my life. He broke me for service. I had made an extremely significant prayer, I prayed that if it was his will – I would give him my entire life and dedicate it in service to Him, and the furthering of the Kingdom. Well, he answered that Prayer and in the beginning of 2016 after moving into our new home, I would struggle with the two idols I hadn’t fully let go of – Drugs and Alcohol. But, God continued to remind of my promise. After coming across Evangelism videos on YouTube, and watching The Way Of The Master I began to realize Gods calling for my life was not to evangelize to my pot smoking buddies. I began to search on the internet, and found an amplifer and decided to purchase it. When the box arrived, I began to look at it – and realized I could not be a Cigarette and Pot smokin’, drunk of an evangelist. On that day, February 2nd 2016 I gave God all of my remaining Idols – My addictions. After this day, I began to go to locations with my amplifier and attempt to evangelize but, would ultimately chicken out. I began to pass out tracts in various parts of Bloomington and Normal, Illinois and that is when God put in front of me what has became, my Best Friend, a true brother, and my mentor – Ken Hisle. Since that day, instead of trying to quench my thirst for drugs and alcohol, I developed an unquenchable thirst for learning more and more about God, His Righteousness and the true way my life is meant to be lived, and to most importantly fufill my calling to “Go and Preach the Gospel to All Creation.” Sola Deo Gloria!
Joe Conkle – Ashland, OH

Other evangelistic efforts include THE Ohio State Buckeyes home games, and helping other fellow evangelist.
My desire is to glorify God, be obedient to his word, and be a better evangelist.
Michael Corral – Falls Church, VA
I am layman evangelist and open air preacher in Washington DC and member of and under the authority of the Pastors and Elders at Capitol Hill Baptist Church (CHBC). I have been a supernaturally born again Christian since around 2004, found out I was a Calvinist around 2008 and was re-baptized and became a member at CHBC in 2011. I started studying and practicing evangelism mostly online starting around 2005. After witnessing to a cousin-in law, now a pastor in Florida, he started open air preaching on the streets of DC, and after many invitations, I finally joined him in 2007, and haven’t stopped since. I have personally spoken / witnessed to thousands upon thousands of people, and handled out tens and tens of thousands of Gospel tracts. I have open air preached to all kinds people, always preaching a Calvinistic Gospel and Expository Preaching, with an evangelistic message, hundreds and hundreds of times.
I am married to a young wife, for one year as of May 1, 2017. We don’t have children at this time, but we are working on it. I work full-time in the commercial real estate industry, I also work part-time in the retail industry (marriage is expensive). I try to go out of my way to do evangelism on Saturdays, the rest of the time, whenever the opportunity presents itself. I collect antiquarian books. I would like to plant a Church in a busy city someday, and hope to be a pastor and author, when it is the Lord’s will and those doors are opened.

Adam Cutshaw – Manchester, TN
Adam Cutshaw is an unworthy slave of Christ and knows obedience to God’s commands is merely doing what an unworthy slave should do (Luke 17:10). Adam was raised in a Christian fundamentalist home and made multiple false professions of faith throughout his life. For several years during and after college God brought much sadness, despair and a sense of guilt that continued to cause conviction of sins and a reality of being lost. After several years of searching, God graciously revealed to Adam the truths and realities found in the Doctrines of Grace. Adam began to understand even the faith to believe in Jesus for salvation was a gift of God (Eph. 2:8). One morning while alone and under the moving of the Holy Spirit, Adam cried out to God for salvation and God graciously saved a self-righteous, unworthy sinner. Adam is married to his wife of nine years, Whitney and has a daughter Karaline (4) and a son Kalel (2). He has been a city police officer, a semi-professional football player, a body guard and diamond transporter, a federal government security contractor and is currently a Master Barber. Adam is on an “elder track” in his local church, is enrolled in Ekklesia Theological Seminary, is currently teaching through the book of Hebrews to the adult Sunday School and teaches/preaches weekly at the government housing projects in his home town. Adam and his family live in southern middle Tennessee on the banks of the Duck River. Adam desires to be used by God however God directs.

Dan Davis – Seymour, WI
Saved by the hand of God shortly after my wife was saved some 21 yrs ago now. We have been married for 24 years and have had one daughter who’s recently married to a godly young man. I’ve worked for Wisconsin in the highway department for about 20 years and now serve in the area of roadway maintenance. I currently serve in our new local home fellowship “Word from the Barn” as the Life Events Deacon for the last 3yrs. I’ve been sharing my faith through testimony and tracts for about 20 years but only 3 years of experience in open air preaching. I’m looking forward to laboring alongside my fellow brothers and sisters in the faith in a much larger venue SBO 16 and declaring the Glorious Gospel of our LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Danny Davis – Ardmore, AL
My name is Danny W. Davis. I am 67 years of age and live with my wonderful wife Madge. We have been married for forty-five years and have raised one daughter and two grandchildren. We currently live in Ardmore, Alabama, which is located in northern Alabama, near Huntsville.
I was raised in a Pentecostal family who did not attend a church, but met regularly in homes of family and friends to worshiped the Lord. I believed I was saved at an early age, but as I grew older, I drifted away and lived a life full of sin. Thinking I was saved, believing God would forgive me, I presumed on His grace. It wasn’t until seventeen years ago, that I really came to the Lord on my knees seeking His salvation, begging for His forgiveness, and asking for the power to overcome an addiction that I had been feeding for many years.
He simply said to me, “Call Me”, whenever an untoward thought enters your mind. I called Him many times a day and the second I called, He responded and the desire fled! At the same time, the Word became alive to me and I could not get enough of it. It became my best friend and I longed to be with it.
My wife and I were lead to join a church, which we are still attending, and our lives have never been the same again.
I have joined a group of men and women who evangelize whenever and wherever we can. The group was started by Paul Harvey and seems to grow as we reach more and more people.
Arnold Davtyan – Glendale, CA
Hi. My name is Arnold Davtyan and I live in Glendale, CA. After high school, depravity kicked in and my love for sin started to increase and show itself more. From that point on, the nature and degree of sin gradually increased in my life. It was in the Spring of 2010 that the Lord, out of His grace, changed my heart and cleansed me of my sins; giving me a hope that is imperishable; Himself. As time went on, my passion and love for God only grew as He was sanctifying me and developing my character. I went on to study theology and get into the heavier issues within Christianity and that produced an increase in worship towards God. Up until this point in my life, God has been faithful to continue the work that He has started. He’s currently placed me in different positions to serve Him within the Church and in the world. Specifically speaking, I’m leading a jr high ministry at COAC alongside my beautiful girlfriend. I also disciple a few of our jr high guys as she disciples the young ladies. Apart from serving the Church, God has also given me a strong passion to preach the gospel and awakened in me love towards my preborn neighbors. Throughout the week (Tues, Fri, Sats), along with some brothers and sisters in our abolitionist society of Los Angeles, we go out to campuses, local communities, and abortion mills to expose the sin of abortion, preach the gospel, and plead with women not to kill their babies.
All that being said, soli deo Gloria.
David Day – Montgomery, AL
My name is David Day and I reside in Montgomery Alabama with my wife Amanda and our 4 children. My family and I are members of Morningview Baptist Church here in Montgomery where I serve as a deacon.
My family are in full time ministry as an Evangelist Catalyst / Missionary Service Corps Missionary with the North American Mission Board and Alabama Baptist Association.
I have been sharing my faith since the Lord quickened my heart in 2008 after hearing a sermon called, “Hell’s Best Kept Secret” by Ray Comfort. This sermon was used by God to reveal to me my sin against Him by the use the Ten Commandments, being as what Paul stated they are, “A schoolmaster” Galatians 3:24 The Lord worked wonderfully in my heart through the gospel and continues to this day to sanctify me, to draw me from sin, and to Lord willing to make me and my family as Thomas Watson has said, “an instrument of the glorifying God.”
Matt De Jesus – Glendale, Arizona
I was introduced to the Gospel message at 10 years of age. I went forward at my church, made
a profession of faith, and was baptized- not fully understanding what I was doing. My road of
sanctification, like many of you can relate, has been a rocky one. As I grew to became an adult I
learned intimately what God meant when He had Malachi refer to Him as “a refinerʼs fire…” (Mal
3:2) as well as the passage in Proverbs that tells us He disciplines those He loves (Prov 3:12).
God was purifying me by ripping the sin, which I was clutching to so tightly, out of my hands. No
discipline at the time is pleasurable, but needed. Needed to become a useful vessel that would
honor God, not bringing a reproach to His name. This is an ongoing process until Glory.
After years of watching “On The Box” and “Wretched” I had the opportunity to meet Tony Miano.
I helped him with several videos and I learned quite a bit about street evangelism. I was so
inspired that I had to open my mouth as well to proclaim the Gospel. Iʼm now heading up a
street evangelism team at my church and training others to do the same.
Iʼve been married to a blessing of a wife, Roxanne, for 4 years now. I have 3 children ages 29,
19, and 17. The Lordʼs providence is constantly amazing me in how Heʼs working in my
marriage and with my children.
God has also blessed me with a video production business that Iʼve owned for the past 30 plus
years. I produce national and regional commercials, corporate and marketing videos as well as
independent feature films. I have also produced several videos for Tony Mianoʼs Cross
Encounters Ministries as well as Apologia Church and others. Recently I started a faith-base
division of my company called Sovereign Grace Media. It exists to bring the Gospel to a lost and
dying world and to train those in the church through all forms of media.
Ryan Denton – El Paso, TX
Ryan Denton founded Christ in the Wild Ministries in 2016 while serving as a Pastor in Navajo Nation, NM. Since then he has been engaged in gospel proclamation in the “wild” on a daily basis.
Jesus Christ saved Ryan at age 22. Until then he’d been living with a woman out of wedlock. He was using whiskey and marijuana regularly. His cussing would’ve humbled any sailor. He’d spent time in jail for physically assaulting a police officer. But then a friend died. The Lord used DEATH to show Ryan that he too was mortal. Ryan realized his bones would one day be plunged into the earth, regardless of what he accomplished in this life. He realized how vain it was to trust in his own strength, “whose breath is in his nostrils.” God started giving him a hunger for the things of Him. Ryan moved out of his girlfriend’s house. He stopped partying. He began to read the Word of God. One night Ryan took a walk in rural New Mexico and looked at the stars and saw that “the heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky proclaims his handiwork. Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge.” The scales fell out of his eyes. The majesty of God pummeled him. The beauty of Christ’s death and resurrection clenched him. The Holy Spirit sealed him. The Love of God had been shed abroad in his heart. Christ’s presence became warmer and more tangible than any drug or woman he’d ever known.
When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,
what is man that you are mindful of him,
and the son of man that you care for him? Psalm 8
Convicted of sin, the outward ones began to vanish, the boozing and the smoking and the whoring and the cussing, but he became aware of an even fiercer battle between sin and holiness that was taking place in his thoughts and heart. This warfare continues today, as each day he labors to become more conformed to the image of Jesus Christ, and as each day his flesh attempts to resist him. Yet one thing he does, “forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,” he seeks “to press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called him heavenward in Christ Jesus.” He can say with Paul that even though he’s “the chief of sinners,” by the grace of God he is what he is.
Shortly after this Ryan graduated from UNM in Albuquerque with BA’s in Philosophy and English, then St. John’s College in Santa Fe with a Master’s degree in Classics. The whole time while in secular academia he was resisting God’s call on his life to preach. It was after Santa Fe when he gave up the world’s pursuits for good. The repulsion and futility he felt towards secular academics and the ambitions of the world catapulted him into the sole pursuit of preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ, which he’s done ever since, through the grace of our Lord. Ryan married his wife Tasha soon after. He and his wife live in El Paso, TX.
Paul Drane – Ontario, Canada
My name is Paul Drane. I am 39 years old and live in London, Ontario, Canada with my loving wife of 20 years, Marsha, and our dog and cat. I am a welder by trade. By God’s grace He saved me and brought me to repentance and faith In Jesus Christ as Savior and Sovereign King about 3 ½ years ago. In these past few years His work in our lives (Marsha is also a fairly recent convert) has been amazing. He patiently continues to work humility, patience, love and so many other things in our hearts, changing us to be like Christ Jesus. If you read this and we ever meet, I would love to tell you of all that Christ Jesus has done for us!
John Downs – Paul, ID
John Downs is the husband to his beautiful wife Misty Downs. God joined them together in holy matrimony on July 12, 2008. He is the father of five lovely girls, Tyler May, Tori Kristine, Tacey Lee, Tabitha Sue, and Trinity Ruth. God has blessed John with the ministry of family to adorn and love his wife and to raise his children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. John is also the pastor of Paul Congregational Church in Paul, ID. He has been preaching and teaching the Word of God at Paul Congregational Church since May 2016. John graduated from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in December of 2014 with a Masters of Divinity in Great Commission Ministry.
Steven Ely – Newnan, GA
My name is Steven Ely, I’m 25, I’ve been married to my wife Summer for a little over three years. We have one 2 year old son, Greyson, and one more on the way, Asher. I’m nobody special, but the Lord has done an amazing work by saving me through the shed blood of Christ Jesus. I wasn’t raised in a Christian home, but we went to Catholic church on some holidays. I was saved at the age of 16 after the bold witness of my high school art teacher, who brought me to a good solid church and personally discipled me before and after school. Soon after being saved, the Lord put the burden to witness and evangelize on my shoulders. Since then, I’ve been doing all that I could think of to share the glorious gospel of Christ to my coworkers, peers, friends, cashiers, and anyone else that I could build a relationship with in order to do “friendship evangelism”, but then I met Lady Wisdom in Psalm 1:20 and George Whitefield. God then opened my mind to the biblical wisdom of street preaching. So, now I have started preaching the good news of the Good Savior and Lord Jesus Christ in from of my local abortion mill and some other random places with faithful brother. I hope all the come into contact with me forget my name, but may they never leave my presence without remembering the beautiful name of Jesus, the only name by which man can be saved.
Kevin Garcia – Whittier, CA
Born in the U.S. but raised Mexico; Kev grew up as a nominal catholic. When he was seven years-old his grandma took him and his siblings to church. But he kept living a hypocrite life as a false convert.
When he was 16 he came back to the U.S., but it wasn’t until he was in college that he watched a TV show unlike any other: The Way of the Master.
God used it to open his eyes: to see his total depravity and shame before a holy God. Furthermore, the teaching True and False Conversions helped him realize he had been living a lie for more than a decade! It took some time for him to truly repent and come to saving faith, and to fully surrender himself to the saving arms of the Lord. He’s now being sanctified (Phil. 1:6).
His call in life is to share the Good News: he wants everyone to repent and truly know and trust Jesus (especially Hispanics). He is deeply thankful to his Savior, who loved him first…
Ricky Gantz – Elyria, OH
If I was to start from the beginning I would probably need more than one page. I grew up in Church from a very young age and continued to attend until I was in my last few years of high school and my family pretty much stopped attending. In my life there was never a true change, no transformation, I had no salvation whatsoever. I was trusting in the sinner’s prayer I said a few times in youth ministries and a Christian camp, not trusting in Christ! I spent nine years in the Army living just like the rest of the world but all the while believing myself to be a Christian, even had it on my dog tags. Once I came home from the Army I tried to attend Church every so often but mostly because my daughter was playing basketball in a league the Church sponsored. Plus I was playing basketball with the men from that same Church which also was a reason I would attend but not because I was born again, rather for the activity of playing basketball. It wasn’t until I was 32 years old at three o’clock in the morning when the Lord brought me to my knees, broken over my sins against a holy and just God. The Lord brought me to repentance and faith in His Son Jesus Christ and from that day my desires changed. I was and am a new creation, the old has passed away all things become new.
My desires changed and I wanted to know more and more about Jesus Christ, so I listened to so many sermons to hear God’s Word preached, also listening to Christian audio books, lectures and the Audio Bible. Just wanted and desiring to know more and more about the things of the Lord. Also from the very beginning of my conversion, I was sharing the Gospel with everyone in my family and friends. I didn’t know much in the beginning but what I did know I shared it with others and as I began to learn more from the reading and preaching of God’s Word that to I would share with my family. Facebook had been around for sometime and I refused to get one but when my brother was going back to Iraq for his second time I created a Facebook account to stay in contact while he was away. Once I was on Facebook and reconnecting with people I went to highschool with as well as Army buddies, and many other people I really don’t know so well but have connected with. So I began to use Facebook as a place to also do ministry. Sharing verses, sermons and biblical messages on my page. Even getting into many “online debates” over the evidence of God being true or is scripture reliable, also calling out false teachers. Which eventually I was booted from Facebook. They allowed me to get my page back but then again I was blocked, reported for hate speech because of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And so that became the beginning of what is now called G220 Ministries. Initially I was just starting a Facebook page to promote and share the Gospel under the name of Disciple-Making Ministries, the more I began to be out witnessing and through the internet, I was able to meet many other brothers and sisters who were also compassionate about sharing the Gospel and as things started to go the ministry began doing more.
At the beginning of 2014 my friend Chris and I began a Christian internet radio show called Berean Boys Radio, which lasted for two months. We had to break away from the show due to my friend having many other ministry obligations to handle. So that became the beginning of G220 Radio. A Christian internet radio show that deals with a wide range of topics from a Christian worldview. It has been a blessing to be able to run G220 Radio and all the wonderful guests that have been on to share their wisdom and knowledge from the Word of God on different issues. Also during this time of running G220 there have been opportunities to attend conferences and meet many more good brothers and sisters in Christ. Also during this time I wanted to condense the things I was doing ministry wise into one single ministry. And that is when I changed the name of Disciple-Making Ministries to G220 Ministries.
My prayer and hope in all of this is that The LORD BE GLORIFIED through the ministry and radio show. I would never claim to be an expert or assume I have everything all figured out. The Christian life is a process of continued growth, being conformed more and more to the image of Christ Jesus, as we await the Glorious return of our KING of kings and LORD of lords.
G220 Ministries is here to, by God’s sovereign grace see those who are lost come to faith in Jesus Christ, and to help and assist believers in their walk with the Lord Jesus Christ.
Grace and Peace

Rick & Amy Garland – Bakersfield, CA

I am raising support to preach full time on the streets as well as in California prisons. My ministry is Lighthouse Gospel Ministries and my website is www.gospelbeacon.org. This is my 5th Superbowl Outreach.
I am Amy Garland I was raised in a Christian home and came to faith as a teenager. I grew up around pro-life ministry and have ministered on the sidewalks of abortion clinics most of my life. Rick and I met at a pro-life prayer vigil in 2008 and married in 2013. We labor together for souls as often as possible. This is my 4th Superbowl Outreach.
Peter Garon – Bakersfield, CA
I was born and raised in Los Angeles, lived in Santa Clarita for a long time (north L.A. County), and now live in Bakersfield, CA where I attend Crossway Baptist Church. I’m married and have two adult kids; our oldest is a sheriff’s deputy in Texas, and our youngest is at college and preparing for a life in missions.
As a Jew I faced social isolation in my neighborhood, the schools I attended and was subject to both verbal and physical abuse. I “believed” in Jesus when I was in college (around May of 1982) after leaving Reformed Judaism for Secular Humanism when I was in college. I was baptized at a Bible teaching church, and was a member at 3 evangelical churches for a total of 28 years. I was on a church missions committee, an AWANA leader for 7 years, a volunteer representative for a missions agency, a faithful member of the ushering team at my church and even took part in a missions trip to Spain. And yet before April 23, 2010 I was not a Christian; I was a false convert. I was busy living out Matthew 7:21-23. The modern false Gospel played its role in my life reassuring me I was saved and was a part of the Body of Christ when I was actually on the broad road to destruction.
When God saved me I certainly wasn’t looking for salvation or becoming a Christian, after all, I thought I already was. By His grace and for His glory, God revealed to me who and what I was. I confessed Jesus as Lord, the one who died and rose from the dead, and that I had sinned against God more than I could know, but the worst was that I had claimed to be a Christian when I wasn’t. I told God I wouldn’t blame Him if He sent me to hell, but I begged Him to save me. Afterwards I remember thinking as I drove home, “So this is what Christians feel like.”
The Bible verse I used at my false baptism was Revelation 3:20. At my real baptism the verse I quoted was Matthew 7:21-23.
I started going out on the street to testify to God’s saving grace not long after, but it took over a year before I met up with evangelist Tony Miano. It was Tony who took me with him as heralded the Gospel and trained me in evangelism. This will be my second Super Bowl with Sports Fan Outreach International. I look forward to seeing you all there.
Robert Gray – Colorado Springs, CO
Robert grew up in a Christian home in Portsmouth, NH and believed himself to be a Christian for 14 years until he realized he wasn’t saved. God granted him faith and repentance in 1998 and he’s been indebted to Christ growing and maturing in God’s mercy and grace ever since. He counts it all joy to serve Him in whatever capacity needed in order to give Him all the glory.
Robert became a full time evangelist 16 August 2009 after serving for 20 years in the United States Air Force. He is home based out of Colorado Springs, CO. He attended Living Waters’ Ambassador’s Academy in October 2008 and is an experienced evangelism team leader, serving teams for the Ambassador’s Academy, “The 500,” JeremiahCry Ministries, Thunder Over Scotland Tour, Super Bowl Outreaches in Dallas, Indianapolis and New Orleans where he was also a speaker and as a leader for a number of other outreaches around the country and the world. He is a member of Cross Country Evangelism (crosscountryevangelism.com) a ministry carrying the gospel of Jesus Christ across the United States and countries around the world distributing gospel tracts, one to one witnessing and open air preaching. He also conducts evangelism training and mentors and disciples open air preachers.
Mason Goodknight – Roseburg, OR
I’m a Christian, husband, father, evangelist, and corrections deputy. I thank God for using a wretch like me to bring Him glory and bring good to His people. God is so good!
Kurtis Gould – Pickerington, OH
My name is Kurtis Gould. I am 16 years old and live in Pickerington, Ohio. I go to Berean Baptist Church in Pickerington and am a sophomore at Liberty Christian Academy. I enjoy flying airplanes, hunting, fishing, and playing sports. I have grown up in a Christian home and was saved at a young age but through the last year or two the Lord has called me to go out and evangelize and I have grown a love for sharing Christ to the lost. I have been privileged to have Michael Coughlin teaching me and instructing me on how to become a better evangelist to the lost here in Columbus and now I am looking to go farther out to preach God’s Word and what better way than combining two things I love- Evangelism and football. Lord Willing I will continue preaching of salvation to the lost here in Columbus and wherever else the Lord will lead me.
Ben Grady – Madison, TN
My name is Ben Grady. I have been a servant of Christ for five years now. My childhood was spent in a secular home where I didn’t know anything about the Lord. The Lord got my attention after I came to Nashville and started attending a church where I was involved in a study through the Bible. For a time I struggled with whether the Bible could be trusted, but God supernaturally caused me to trust on His word and follow Jesus. Immediately I wanted to share the good news with others, although my knowledge was very shallow and filled with bad theology. I didn’t know anything about what it meant to follow Jesus, but I knew that He said that He had nowhere to lay His head and that those who claim to live in Him must walk as He walked, so I thought that God wanted me to be homeless to follow Him. I became voluntarily homeless, ended up at the local homeless shelter, went through their Life Recovery Program, and have now been on staff for a little over four years. Over time, God has opened my eyes to the glory of the depth of the gospel and good theology. The Lord has so blessed me to give me a job where I get to spread the gospel and work with computers at the same time. I now desire to do what I can to share with all of Jesus and to glorify God in doing so. I have also been blessed with a wonderful wife! We just celebrated our second anniversary.
Jamie Hall – Myrtle Beach, SC
My name is James Hall. I’m from myrtle beach, south Carolina. I’m 6’10” tall. I started a company of my own last year. It’s call Praise The Lord Paracord. I work for a company called IGA, as a Custodian. I am also a Street Preacher for The 5 Solas Outreach Ministry. We evangelize around or area and neighboring states. Been evolved in Super Bowl Outreach. And it wouldn’t have been possible without Jesus Christ.
Paul Harvey – Madison, AL
I was raised in a Christian home, but was living a life of hypocrisy until 2007. The Lord used a faithful preacher to show me my sin, and God granted me grace. One of the first things the Lord dealt with me about was evangelism. I went out, making mistakes, learning, studying, and growing. By God’s grace I am more equipped now than before, yet I am always wanting to learn more of Christ, share more of Christ, and fellowship more with the body of Christ. My wife of 20 years (Randa) has faithfully prayed for me both as a man needing Christ, and now praying for me as a man following Christ. We have three sons, Matthew (15), Jonathan (14), and Ryan (12). Our local fellowship, CrossPointe Church, supports us in the public proclamation of the gospel, both in prayer, finances, and holding us accountable to our elders. SDG!
Tim Heaton – Springfield, OR
The Lord connected the dots so to speak for me with the Gospel as I read the last three chapters of Matthew while in high school. It was then that I realized I needed to trust Christ to save me and that I needed to follow Him. He has changed my life ever since. After college I worked as a public school teacher, but my health was a key factor in ending that work. I now work full time with Child Evangelism Fellowship. I want others to hear the Gospel and trust Christ to save them. God has been so good to me and my family, giving us life with HIM, and opportunities to tell others about Him.
Stephanie Helms – Los Angeles, CA
My name is Stephanie Helms and I live in Los Angeles, CA. I’ve attended three Super Bowl Outreaches before (Miami, Tampa, and San Francisco), and am excited to be part for a fourth time! God saved me while I was at a church camp in Kentucky. I had been a very confused false convert since I was 8, and finally repented of my sin and put my faith in Christ alone when I was 13.
I worked as a Christian school teacher for 3 years after college, and am currently working as the Guest Services Coordinator (swanky name for complaints girl) at a hotel in Waikiki. I have the awesome privilege of doing street evangelism there on a regular basis. I can’t wait to see how God works at the Super Bowl this year!
A full-time worker, Bible student, acoustic guitar musician, and active evangelist
Joe Hinson – Denton, TX
I have been married for going on 20 years to Missy. We’ve been together since high school. We have 2 sons, Seth 14 and Ben 10. We live in Denton Texas about an hour north of Dallas.
I lived as a false convert for several years until around 10 years ago when by God’s grace I came into contact with Ray Comfort’s “Hell’s Best Kept Secret” and “True and False Conversion”. The first message helped me to truly understand the Gospel and the second revealed my complete absence of Faith in said Gospel.
Currently my family and I are making preparations to relocate to the Provo Utah area to Lord willing be a part of disciples being made and see churches being planted.
Soli Deo Gloria!
Ken Hisle – Bloomington, Ill
My name is Ken Hisle and I live in Bloomington, Illinois. I have been married to my wife Dee for 24 years and my life’s passion is sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with this lost world. I have been doing open air preaching and street evangelism for about 7 years. I live minutes from Illinois State University and have joined with other men and women locally to do outreach in our community.
I have been blessed to attend the Ambassador’s Academy twice (#12 & #18), the Super Bowl Outreach in 2013, 2014 & 2015, Revival Preacher Training 2013, the Kentucky Derby 2013, 2014 & 2015 and Fall for Greenville 2012 and 2013.
For the past 2 1/2 years I have been traveling to Chicago with the Chicago Evangelism Team (you can find us on Facebook) at least once per month and we are beginning to travel to other large cities within a few hours of us (St. Louis, Indianapolis). I am currently a self-employed contractor and one day hope to be doing full time evangelism…Lord willing!
Justin Hoffman – East Peoria, IL
Hello, my name is Justin Hoffman. The Lord saved me by His Sovereign plan in 2002. Since that time, the Lord has drawn me away from my love of sin and self and given me a new heart with new desires. Not too long after my conversion, the Lord directed me to a ministry called Living Waters. Through this Ministry the Lord developed in my heart a call to evangelism. In 2004 I began street evangelism in my normal day-to-day activities. It took me a few years to study and work up the courage to go out and begin open-air preaching. It wasn’t until 2008 that I really started to have a passion for learning how to open-air preach. Between 2008-2012 I spent a lot of time passing out tracts at local events and at small functions. In 2012 the Lord opened up the opportunity to join other brethren here in the Peoria, Illinois area. It was in 2012 that I had began to interact with Bill Adams and SFOI. Since 2012, I have attended four Super Bowl Outreaches and two Kentucky Derby Outreaches. I am grateful for the time of fellowship that these outreaches offer and the privilege to labor on the streets with the brethren. I look forward to what the Lord will do through more of these opportunities!
Kris Hudson – Fargo, ND
Kris Hudson has been evangelizing the streets of Fargo, North Dakota since August 2011. The areas that he has evangelized include stoplight preaching at various intersections in Fargo, Newman Outdoor Field (minor league baseball stadium), North Dakota State University (NDSU), F-M Pride Parade, St. Patrick’s Day Parade, and the Fargodome. Currently, he has been preaching by the Fargodome after NDSU football games.
Kris grew up in a very solid Christian home. God had already saved both of his parents before they got married. When Kris was in first grade he said the sinner’s prayer. From that point on until his first year of college he thought he was saved because he said the prayer but in reality was unconverted. God started drawing him during his senior year of high school. God started to correct and reprove his worldly focus on life by letting him think about his own mortality. After that God used a local church’s college ministry to bring him truth about salvation. On December 30, 2009 God granted him repentance and faith after talking with a fellow Christian about salvation.
Kris got a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mathematics in 2013 from NDSU. He is currently seeking to become an actuary.
Kris attended Living Waters Ambassador’s Academy #20 in July 2011. God used that experience as a launching pad into regular street evangelism. He has also participated in Cru’s Big Break 2013 and 2014 outreaches and Super Bowl Outreach 2015 (Phoenix). He is really looking forward to continue to proclaim the gospel in San Francisco for SBO 2016.
Jerry Jones – Carthage, TX
My name is Jerry Jones. I am 28 years old and live in Carthage, Texas. I have been blessed with an amazing Godly wife, Tiffany, and we have 3 children. I grew up going to southern baptist Churches and said the sinner’s prayer when I was 7. Shortly after this my parents divorced I remained out of Church until I was about 21. I went on and off, but never had any type of relationship with God. I began going to Church regularly when I was 23, but it was just religion and no relationship. I got fairly involved in Church activities, and God graciously revealed the true gospel to me through “The Shocking Youth Video” when I was 26. I do not know an exact date of salivation, but shortly afterwards God gave me a desire to study His word and spend more time than I could ever have imagined being able to, apart from His grace, in prayer. I began having conviction that if I was a true believer I should share my faith, and always admired people who were able to stand out in the open air and proclaim the gospel. My wife and I got conviction to go to an abortion mill and call out to women, and through this outreach met Seth Capps. I was able to watch him preach at a local festival, and though it was horrible, the Lord gave me the ability to proclaim the gospel to the masses in November 2014. God has been so amazing in orchestrating all these Godly men and women in my life who have helped shape me and disciple me. I am excited to grow through attending this outreach, and also looking forward to meeting fellow evangelist from across America. This is my first SFOI event!
As far as hobbies are concerned I love spending time with my family, and reading/listening to audiobooks.
Ralph Joseph – Greensboro, NC
I have been married to my incredible wife Mary Ann nearing 22 years. We have a beautiful daughter together, who is a Junior at Grove City College.
I’ve been proclaiming Christ as Lord since 1989 when a co -worker shared the glorious gospel with me. Unfortunately, I kind of kicked back, attended church and half heartedly, waited for Christ’s return. Only in the last four and a half years have I been active for my Lord and King. Today, I believe that the gospel should effect all areas of the individual’s life, into the family, into the Church, and the government, as well as arts, music, etc. Jesus Christ is Lord and King now and everywhere.
Other than enjoying life together with my wife, I’ve done quite a bit of ministry at abortion mills, and as I’m able with individuals and teams on street corners, courthouses and colleges
Kevin Katzmann – Ontario, Canada
My name is Kevin Katzmann and my wife Christina and I have been married since 2008. We have two boys, Curtis and Cameron who are a wonderful blessing from the Lord. God graciously saved me in May 2012 and Christina several months later. He has taken us from darkness to light and given us eyes to see the glory of Christ. I enjoy making Jesus Christ known through the proclamation of the gospel by serving in my local church through street outreach and encouraging others in evangelism.
Sean Keefe – Raleigh, NC
Born and raised as a dead man walking, I was a partying, non-penitent, non-regenerate Catholic from Jersey for the first 18 years of my life. When I was 20, by God’s grace, some supernatural things occurred and I received Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of my life one Thanksgiving (1999) shortly after. Moved to Raleigh in 2003, met my wife, Elisa, in 2006 and married that sweet woman in 2007. I have two wonderful (most of the time) step children, Miranda and Joe. I have been working as a property manager of an apartment community in Durham, NC since March of 2006. Through my wife’s encouragement and the fellowship/discipleship of more mature believers, I have been especially passionate about the great commission for the past two and a half years. By God’s providence I have had multiple privileges to publicly proclaim Christ as well many one-on-one conversations. This will be my second Super Bowl Outreach. The first one was intense, but a real blast serving the LORD in such a biblically relevant way. Can’t wait to see the fruit on the other side! Worthy is the Lamb!!
Richard Kellar – Bogalusa, LA
I am part of an evangelistic team that regularly witnesses on a local college campus. We also open-air/tract in the French Quarter, New Orleans, local parades and festivals. I first served with SFOI during Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans and Final Four 2014 in Dallas. It is a blessing to meet so many individuals from all walks of life who all share the common goal of proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ. I look forward to serving with everyone at Super Bowl LI in Houston.

Christopher Ledezma – Reynoldsburg, OH
Nearly 14 years ago, the Lord showed a great deal of mercy and compassion, and saved me. Since then He has continued to do the same thing, day after day. All I can say is I deeply love Him and am glad He has taught me through great men and women (some who will be at SBO 2016) how to share with others about the mercy that is available for them, as well.
I am excited about the prospect of my 16 year old son (who lives in another state) coming with me to the SBO.
Lucas Mann – Clinton, SC
Greetings! I am Rev. Lucas Jackson Mann and I am an evangelist, preacher, teacher, and servant of Jesus Christ. I grew up in a Christian family and, at age 7, made a profession of faith in Christ. However, I was not truly saved. Instead, I was falsely converted and continued to live in blatant sin, all while thinking I was a Christian. At the age of about 15, God powerfully came into my life and saved me! My life was amazingly changed, I grew so much and changed so much. I had indeed truly believed in Jesus for my salvation. Ever since then, I have been serving the Lord through evangelism, preaching, and teaching, all for the glory of God! I have been ordained into the ministry by my home church, First Baptist Church Cross Hill and I am in the process of getting my ministry, Gospel Of Grace Ministries, started, all by God’s amazing and unfailing grace. Currently, I am serving the Lord in while staying in the Orlando area and enjoy evangelizing in the streets, the local abortion mill, sports areas, and even a campground in the area, anywhere that I can preach Christ and Him crucified and raised from the grave. Praise God for His wonderful grace!

Greg Marlin – Battlefield, MO
Greg Marlin and his wife Kim have been married 20 years and are members of Crossway Baptist Church in Springfield Mo. Greg came to faith in Christ approximately 10 years ago after being raised in a Mormon background. Immediately, after being saved God began a process of continuing Christ-like transformation in his life. Part of that transformation process was a God given heart to see lost people come to faith in Christ. As a new Christian, Greg discovered the WOTM basic training course from Living Waters which has had a profound impact on his Christian walk. In 2008 he attended the first Ambassador’s Academy put on by Living Waters. Since that time Greg has trained and lead evangelism teams in the local church, and also at Superbowl outreaches in 2011, 2012, & 2013. In 2012, Greg went on mission with SFOI to the summer Olympics in London. Greg and his friend Dennis Vance are looking forward to leading a team together at the Missouri State Football games this fall with the support of their local church.
Warren and Darlene Marquardt – Lakeland, FL
We have been married over 30 years and saved about 25 of those years. Currently living in Florida but we are originally from Wisconsin. We have four grown children all out on their own. We have served with Sport’s Fan Outreach on several occasions including last year at SBO 15. We currently attend Calvary Chapel, Lakeland, and do outreach at the abortion clinic twice a week.
Mark Mayberry and Sons –
My name is Mark Mayberry, and I will be attending SBO with two of my sons, Ricky, age 11 (Dec. 30) and Robby, age 12.
I was not raised in a Christian home, but my mom, a former drug addict, who had recently come to the LORD, re-introduced me to Jesus, in 1978, at the age of 18 and I believed and was born again, by the grace of God. She also introduced me to some street preachers, who influenced me, from the beginning, to take the commission to preach the Gospel to every creature, seriously, and so I began evangelizing, under their tutelage, right from the start, and have continued since then.
I have a great family that consists of a lovely wife of 35 years, four children and one grandchild. I’m an electrical contractor by trade, and we live in a modest house on seven acres, bordered by a river, in southern Oregon, where we homeschool, raise animals and a garden and small variety orchard.
It is my desire and goal to glorify God in everything and to pass the baton to my children, of a passion to proclaim Jesus to the next generation. We reach out to the community on a semi-weekly basis, as a family (when appropriate), at various universities, high schools, abortion clinics, parades and festivals, etc.
We look forward to gathering with you all for good fellowship and outreach!
Jason McGough – Loris, SC
My name is Jason McGough. I am from Loris, SC. I have been married for 10 years to my lovely bride Missy. I have 4 children. Morgan (17), Jayce (8) Lillie (5), and Knox. I am a Co-leader in a ministry group called the www.fivesolasoutreachministry.com. We typically meet once a month for various outreaches including abortion clinics, festivals and college campuses in our local area. I also have the opportunity to preach 1 to 2 times a week in a small busy downtown area nearby my workplace with my brother Jamie Hall during my lunch break.
This will be my 2nd Kentucky Derby. I also have had the pleasure to labor with SFOI during the 3 previous Superbowl outreaches and the dogwood festival in the past. Lord willing, I am looking forward to this year’s Derby to be able to have fellowship with the saints who will be attending, and labor with them to reach the lost with the heralding of the Gospel.

Freddy Molina – Raleigh, NC
My Name is Freddy Molina. I’m 26 years old and the Lord saved me when I was 18. For 18 years I rebelled against God, and broke every law in the bible. I was a non-practicing Catholic who like the idea of atheism and evolution because it meant I wouldn’t be held accountable for my sins. I grew up hearing vague stories of the cross, but I didn’t know what was the purpose of them all… Some high school friends approach me one afternoon who had obviously been listening to Ray comfort (I know that now) and gave me the good person test. I was confronted with God’s law, I knew I deserved hell and was guilty. They shared the Gospel with me, the bad news and the good news and I understood why Jesus came. To seek and save that which has been lost. By God’s grace I repented of my sins and trusted Jesus, and now will never look back. He’s given me a heart for the lost that I can’t seem to shake off. I find it a privilege to be His ambassador, with a Gospel that doesn’t fail when it is preach. God has been very good to me and has blessed me with my beautiful wife Jeni and two girls Julia and Jane. I’m currently enrolled in the school of biblical evangelism, and have been open air preaching for 2 year with Gospel of God Ministries in Raleigh, NC. This will be my 2nd Super Bowl outreach and I can’t wait to see how God will move.

In addition, Moore is a missionary and is actively involved in Central America. Moore has had the privilege of being the past youth pastor at his local church where he served for twenty three years.
Moreover, Moore is an Evangelist who boldly proclaims the Word of God, and enjoys disciplining, teaching and equipping the saints to share gospel without fear. Moore has an intriguing desire to see the salvation of the lost, the edification of the body, and the advancement of God’s Kingdom here on earth.
Stephen Morris – Raleigh, NC
Thank God for Jesus! I go by Stephen Morris, and I’m thankful for God’s grace that has brought me into His family as His son by Jesus’ blood and resurrection! I made a profession of salvation at age 5, but doubt and sinful living were consistent during my childhood and adolescent years. Many times when troubled about my eternal life/death, I prayed for salvation. There still remained doubting, and when I hit puberty, my bent toward sin grew. At age 15, while with my family at a revival, camp meeting in Georgia, my brother Samuel asked my dad, “How can I know I’m saved?” In that moment the Spirit began deep conviction in my life, and 2 days later as my dad preached on “Thanks be to God for His unspeakable gift” the LORD God called me to Himself and saved me!
The doubting returned that same evening I was saved and the rest of the summer was heavy with spiritual struggle. The Lord testified through His Spirit in my life that I was born again by my changing heart and ways, even though sin still messed me up and disobedience to Jesus as the Lord of all of me hindered my growth in grace.
Since the Lord Jesus revived a heart that wants to know and follow Him about 4 years ago, He has grown me in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. His uniting me to His church by my fellowship with His church at Imago Dei Church here where I live in Raleigh, NC has blessed my soul. I was baptized there on Easter Sunday 2013 and have been a member since Fall of that same year. By the edifying of my church and the Holy Spirit, God the LORD has deepened my love to my Savior and my love to my neighbors. My prayer is “that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
Nick O’Berry – SC
Nick grew up in the church and spent many years trying to please God by doing good works, reading his Bible, going to church, being kind, etc. Since that never works, Nick gave up and tried going his own way from his teenage years to his early adult years. Through a set of potentially life changing circumstances, the Lord brought Nick to his knees, at which point he gave up running from the Hound of Heaven. The Lord then graciously brought Nick along a path that steadily led toward publicly proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Nick was brought out of his shell when hired as a Christian school teacher. He was forced to clearly think through what he believed and how to articulate that to others. After a few years in the classroom, Nick became involved in prison ministry, which further stretched his personally set boundaries. Not long after that, he began to study personal evangelism, which led him to open-air preaching and, eventually, to SFOI. The call on Nick’s life to public evangelism didn’t come with bells and whistles but with a slow, steady, insistent realization that this was the path down which the Lord Jesus Christ was leading him. To deny it and run would have been a return to his earlier years of trying to hide from the Lord Jesus Christ. Nick earned his BA in History from the University of South Carolina in 1997. From 1999 to 2014, he taught history, Bible, and Physical Education at South Aiken Baptist Christian School. In 2011, he was ordained as a Deacon at First Baptist, Graniteville, Rev. Todd Sessions presiding, and was called into full-time evangelism in 2014. He and Marcy, his wife of eighteen years, have five children, Ivy, 13; Cord, 7; Cade, 5; Brann, 2; and Emma, 8 months.
Jeff Padia – Fayetteville, GA
I was a product of “Americanized” evangelicalism. Baptized at age 16, though a false convert, I quickly succumbed to the worldliness and sin that my flesh craved. I found myself in a prolonged downward spiral, increasingly wallowing in the dregs of my wickedness and rebellion against God. I pursued every worldly thing that I thought might make me happy. I spent several years as a drunkard, regularly driving intoxicated after nights of bar-hopping. But God, being rich in mercy, opened my eyes to see how patient and kind and merciful He had been to me in preserving my life, even though His justice could have fallen on me like a hammer. In the misery of my lowest depths, I became dreadfully aware that I was not owed another day of His mercy. It was then that God granted me eyes to see His beauty, and grace to believe in Jesus as my only hope. The riches of His kindness and forbearance and patience had, indeed, led me to repentance (Romans 2:4)!
My recent retirement from a 26 year career as an Air Traffic Controller here in Atlanta has afforded me the opportunity to attend several conferences, and has allowed some additional much-needed time to focus on becoming a better-equipped servant of the Lord. As a member of Faith Bible Church in nearby Sharpsburg, GA, I’m thankful to have been able to proclaim the glories of Jesus Christ and His gospel as a member of our nursing home visitation team over the past few years. God continues to grow me through ministry opportunities with Steven Ely (also attending this outreach) at local abortion mills, as well as with SFOI evangelist Jim Grega. This Kentucky Derby Outreach is yet more evidence of His grace, as I seek to serve and learn alongside many other brothers/sisters in the faith. This is my first outreach with SFOI.
(1 Timothy 1:12-16), SDG
Mike Peek – Whitehouse, TX
My name is Mike Peek. I am a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God; the Word who became flesh and dwelt among us. I first began following the Lord in April 2003 during a church wide 40 day reading of a book called The Purpose Driven Life. The Lord used that book to draw me to Him; however, I do not recommend this book today because I have since come to know the way of God more accurately. I am currently working on a Master of Theological Studies at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and I fellowship at Sylvania Church in Tyler, Texas.
I am the eldest son of Richard and Carole Peek, I was born May 4, 1968 in Richardson, Texas. I am a husband to Darlene, we were married June 30, 1990 in Mansfield, Louisiana. I am a father to Daniel James Peek, adopted November 4, 1992, born July 13, 1989 and Bethany Rachel Peek, born July 20, 1993.
By profession I am a Critical Care Registered Nurse; which means that I help people, who, because of illness or injury are unable to sustain life without help. Many people do recover, but others do not. Therefore, I am compelled to tell people about the free gift of God which is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
My ministry is simple: I write this blog. I give out gospel tracts everywhere that I go. One day a week I go to a public place and preach a 10 Minute Open-Air Sermon while giving away copies of The Gospel According to John..
“For he who was called in the Lord while a slave, is the Lord’s freedman; likewise he who was called while free, is Christ’s slave. You were bought with a price; do not become slaves of men.” (1 Cor 7:22-23)
I am a sinner fallen short of the glory of God. Jesus bought me with a price, and that price was His own precious blood. I deserve death and He took my place. The apostle Paul began his epistle to the Romans with these words;
“Paul, a bond-servant of Christ Jesus, called as an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God,” (Rom 1:1)
The phrase “a bond-servent of Christ Jesus” in Greek says; δοῦλος (doulos) Χριστός (Christos) Ἰησοῦς (Iēsous). According to the NASB Exaustive Concordance; g1401 δοῦλος doulos means a slave; g5547 Χριστός Christos means the Anointed One, Messiah, Christ; and g2424 Ἰησοῦς Iēsous means Jesus or Joshua, the name of the Messiah. Therefore, since the apostle Paul considered himself to be a slave of Jesus Christ, I do also because we are both purchased by the blood of Jesus Christ through faith.

Jenifer continues to lead the ministry in fulfilling the great commission on and off the college campuses.

Jarred Petroff – Fort Collins, CO
I am 21 years old and I am currently finishing up at Colorado State University for a Bachelor’s in social work. I have enjoyed constantly clashing worldviews against the secular and self-contradictory approach to “helping” others, and God has used this hostile environment to grow me in boldness and trust in Him. Currently I am completing a split-internship at a local church and related non-profit that offers financial assistance and referrals. I also have the freedom to share the Gospel with clients which I thank God for! My long-term goal is to do BIBLICAL Christian counseling and to lead others to the Great Physician who alone can save us from the sickness and futility of our own minds.
The other major area of my life is my engagement to a lovely and redeemed daughter of God named Haille, who I will be marrying this July. Haille is also young in Christ, but we rejoice that we have both been forgiven much and we therefore love Christ in dependence on His grace. Haille is studying to be a nurse at another university in CO, and she has the God-given heart to join me in evangelism. I love her and look forward to learning more of Christ through marriage!
I became a Christian in 2013, just a week short of a year I was baptized as a false convert at a local megachurch. After making my profession of faith I continued to live in sin and to love the world, but God began to convict me more and more and to prod my conscience, which I had been trying to destroy for a few years. I experienced the Romans 6 reality of slavery to sin and began to realize that I was hopeless to change myself. This continued throughout the year and shortly after I graduated high school I went on a short-term service trip to CA. The week before I had been listening to a Christian band that made much of Christ with Biblical lyrics and a call to follow Christ that included repentance and death to self. I view this band as the Romans 10 messenger of the Gospel, as I repented and believed the very next week. However, at the time I had no idea of what was happening. I like to say that God did “surprise heart surgery” on me (referring to Ezekiel 36) as I was born again but did not have any Biblical understanding of what this was, what it meant, and what had happened to me. I just knew that I was all new and that I had new desires, freedom from sin, and love for Christ and faith in His perfect finished work. God saved me from tremendous wickedness and almost unveiled evil (I often felt like a ticking time bomb) by making me a new creation and shedding abroad the light of the knowledge of the glory of His perfect Son into my heart. I praise our God for showing mercy to me, the worst of all sinners, and for giving life to a dead, twisted, corrupt, and blind sinner for His own glory.
Though I have only been a Christian for about two and a half years now, God has continued to refine my desire to know more of Him through prayer and His Word. I was unexpectedly called to begin open-air preaching on my campus to defend against some heretical false teaching that was getting the attention of many students. Since then, I have had the privilege of getting to declare God’s glorious Gospel to others in my city, and I am thankful to be used by the LORD and to learn more of Christ as I seek to please God rather than man. Our Father gives some tremendous grace to make an insane and depraved creature an ambassador of His Son and messenger of His Gospel! Without Him we can do nothing, but by abiding in Him we bear much fruit to His glory!
“This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.” 1 Timothy 1:15
Heath Pucel – Green Bay, WI
My name is Heath Pucel. I’ve been married 12 years a wonderful wife who keeps me humble. I live in Green Bay Wisconsin, and I’m a trainer for a large health insurance company. The Lord graciously granted me repentance unto salvation and from my false conversion in 2004 when I was praying in my naivety for how to share my faith biblically. I had attended a lot of witnessing training in the past but it was more lifestyle evangelism; but in 2004, not only did he show me how, He also brought me to repentance in faith through the ministry of Living Waters. Since then, I’ve had a desire and burden to share the Gospel in Green Bay, around the country and abroad. My past experience with evangelism has opened up opportunities for me to attend outings such as: 2008 Ambassadors Academy #3, the 2012 ,2013, 2015 & 2016 Super Bowl Outreaches, 2013 and 2014 Kentucky Derby Outreaches, OAC SET 2012 and 2013. The Sweet Auburn Festival, ministry at ASU, UW Stevens Point and Madison campuses and numerous local events such as Walleye weekend, Wisconsin State Fair, Jehovah’s Witness conventions, and Green Bay Packer Games. God has given me the privilege to meet up with faithful saints locally and across the country to labor and minister His word in the open air and all praise, glory and honor to His name.
Skip Purdy – Greenville, SC
I was born and raised on Long Island, NY for 17 years, brought up in the Episcopal Church. My family and I moved to Sanibel Island, Florida where I met and married my wife, Pam. After 6 years of marriage, 2 babies, and a small business, we were both born again. Three years later we sold our business on the island, rented our house out, and moved our family to Columbia, SC to attend Columbia Bible College, where we added 2 more children to our family. I then served the Lord as pastor in Irmo and Spartanburg, SC for a total of 22 years. My wife and I presently live in Campobello, SC and just recently celebrated our 45th anniversary. Our 4 children are now adults, blessing us with 9 wonderful grandchildren.
Six years ago I realized God was directing me into evangelism ministry. I attend activities where large amounts of people gather. I have created unique Gospel postcard tracts to pass out, along with other unusual tracts. I, also, witness one on one and open air preach as the Lord directs.
After being part of the Super Bowl Outreach team in NY and the Scotland Common Wealth Games last year, I am thankful for SFOI and their provision of great and creative opportunities of learning and doing the ministry of Evangelism for men and women like me.

He was very active with America’s Keswick, a Christian live-in addiction recovery facility for many years. Andrew grew up in a Jewish home and was saved at the age of 16. He received his Master of Theological Studies degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary and his Bachelor of Computer Science degree from Monmouth University. He and his wife Yim Lin live in Jackson, New Jersey; they have two adult children: Timothy and Shannon.
John Rataczak – Toledo, OH
John Rataczak was born in Columbia, Missouri and raised in the St. Louis area. He was saved at an early age through the ministry of the Chatham Bible Church of Wellston, Missouri (now located in Hazelwood, Missouri).
His father was a chemical engineer and his mother was a housewife. Both were saved during John’s early childhood years. Certainly the truth of Acts 16:31 applies in this case: in a short time all the members of the family received Christ as Savior! Both Ed and Mary (his parents) are now with the Lord.
God led John to become involved in full time Christian work during his freshman year at Bob Jones University. Since that calling, he has earned a B.A. in Bible, an M.A. in Pastoral Studies, and a Ph.D. in New Testament Text (Greek).
His teaching experience includes teaching Greek, Hebrew, Theology, Apologetics, Church History, English Bible, and various Biblical Backgrounds courses in three Christian colleges and two graduate schools. In addition, he served as a soccer coach in two ministries.
His pastoral experience includes ministries in Pennsylvania and Ohio. He has filled the pulpit of many Bible-believing churches in a number of states as well and plans to initiate a Bible Conference ministry as God supplies the opportunity.
Presently he is the founder and sole proprietor of Eleutheros Books.
He is the father of two sons and resides in Ohio.
Of course his main interest is to study the Word and win the lost to Christ, but he also has interests in sports and current events.
Joshua Richards – Columbus, OH
My name is Joshua Richards. I am 30 years old and I live in Columbus, Ohio. The goodness of God led me to repent of my sin and trust in Him alone for forgiveness at age 6. I have had quite a Spiritual journey, involving struggles with sin and self, church hopping, and understanding God’s unconditional love for me, among other things. I’m still a work in progress, but I thank God for sending Jesus to save me from the hell I deserved, and Who has sealed me unto the day of redemption for all eternity!
Last year during a visit to the Ohio State Fair, I came across a prayer station ministry sponsored by Grace Polaris Church in Westerville, Ohio. I asked one of the men working the booth if it would be possible for me to assist with the prayer station. He told me where to sign up, and a week later I started volunteering. I met a guy named Will who later would introduce me to something called “prayer walking” which involves walking up to people at public places and offering prayer and the Gospel, right on the spot. Little did I know, that God would not only use this opportunity to revolutionize the way I would do evangelism in the future, but that it was also God’s “Will” to allow me the privilege to be introduced to Rachael Adolphs, who would not only accompany us in the prayer walks, but who I am now currently dating. Lord willing, Rachael will be joining me in experiencing our first ever Kentucky Derby Outreach!
I have been involved in many local outreaches at fairs, festivals, college campuses, statehouses, bars, street corners, malls, grocery stores, hospitals, prisons, nursing homes, a cemetery, a local abortion clinic, a Columbus Crew soccer game, Ohio State college football games, and one SFOI Superbowl Outreach. Besides Ohio, I have shared the Gospel in eight different states, as well as Mexico, and Honduras. I am a member of Linworth Baptist Church in Worthington, Ohio where I enjoying volunteering, in addition to my hobbies of playing piano, going for long walks, and spending time with friends, family, my girlfriend, and my awesome God. I believe God’s will for this trip and afterwards will be to love God, love people, and share Christ MORE!
Seth Richardson – Rougemont, NC
Seth Richardson is a husband and father of 3 from Durham North Carolina. He works full time in the field of Network Security but his heart is Evangelism and he desires to make that his vocation.
Seth was raised in the umbrella of the Watchtower Society and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1997. Seth served as a faithful teacher and Evangelist for the Watchtower for 17 years until witnessing certain events within the organization led him to question the Watchtower claim to authority among other doctrines. In December 2013, Seth stepped down from his role in the organization and formally dissociated himself. After a few months, Seth heard a full and clear presentation of the Gospel by Todd Ellis of Make Sure Ministries in a Youtube video which led him to repent and put his trust in Christ. Seth contacted Todd and Betty Ellis who conducted a Bible study with Seth and his family weekly for several months by phone until Seth and his family came under the discipleship of First Baptist Church of Durham North Carolina. Seth and his wife Linda were baptized August 10, 2014.
Seth became active in street evangelism and open air preaching in the fall 2015 and shares in this work on a weekly basis in Durham and Raleigh North Carolina. Seth is currently being discipled in Evangelism by Tommy Waltz and Gospel of God Ministries.
Edris “Ed” Rivera – Oviedo, FL
Hello, my name is Edris Rivera. Most people call me Ed. I’m originally from Puerto Rico raised mostly in Army/Navy bases in Puerto Rico, Texas, and Panama. In college I completed a degree in Physics and went through ROTC training to become an officer in the U.S. Army. I was commissioned and sent to Ft Bliss, El Paso, TX for further training and it was there that the NAVIGATOR ministry reached out to me and I responded wholeheartedly to the Gospel (1971). My life hasn’t been the same since. To proclaim the Gospel has always been my passion. In 1973 I started flying for American Airlines as a flight attendant and just recently retired (Sep 29, 2013) after 40 years of flying all over the world. I loved my job mainly because it was a great mission’s field. Not only was I able to share the Gospel with many passengers, pilots, and flight attendants, but I was able to do open air preaching in both English and Spanish in many of the countries I have flown too. I want to thank Scott Smith for getting me hooked about 10 years ago into doing open airing at UCF (University of Central Florida) which has become my regular weekly ministry ever since we started in 2005. I’ve had the privilege of going to several SBOs and looking forward to the upcoming SBO (2016). I also want to thank Bill Adams again for his ministry and for bringing us ALL TOGETHER as one happy family of open air preachers.
Paul Roepnack – Cary, NC
In 2011, the Holy Spirit was gracious to open my eyes to the gospel of Jesus Christ and the depravity of my own sin, after nearly 35 years living in cultural Christianity. Not only was I saved at that time, but my wife as well. Together, we looked back at our lives up until that point and saw that despite being raised in religious homes and attending excellent Christian schools, neither of us had ever submitted to the Lordship of Jesus Christ in our lives and had been lying to ourselves for many years.
I loved and enjoyed my sin, had been chasing the trappings of the world, was ruled by my own will and living for myself, made excuses for following God’s directives for my lives as “believer”, and yet attended church and professed to believe. We partied on Saturday and went to church on Sunday. I dishonored parents, lied, stole, hated, loved drunkeness, and idolized at every opportunity. I had no ability or desire to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and believed that was something that only certain people were commanded or “gifted” to do, brushing aside the Great Commission in exchange for fleeting passions about politics or worldly concerns. I had no ability to teach my children or my wife, to lead them in life’s many decisions and questions by the wisdom of the Word. I was blind. There were certain sins of my past I continued to make excuses for or counted as “not so bad”, and I compared myself to others instead of God’s Law. Once the Light was shining, I understood that I was an offender and an enemy of God and deserved His eternal Wrath – as all of mankind who are not under His righteousness do.
Once regenerated, our lives changed so rapidly that it alarmed many people around us. We were baptized and this was confusing for many, as we had already been baptized at various points in our youth – but what a wonderful day it was to stand before our church body and truly profess Christ with the assurance of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit had revealed my own sin and it grieved me so deeply, praise God. Through conviction and submission, I began ridding our family of the distractions of this world and our own idolatry, and began leading our family in the Word. Everything changed. The power of the Gospel and the Holy Spirit is so great, it cannot come into a man’s life and lie dormant. I am so grateful to have been saved from Cultural Christianity, from religious falsities and rituals, and from my own sin under the righteousness of Jesus Christ imputed upon me.
I developed a thirst for God’s Word, and enjoy listening to sermons and studying His Word every day. My wife and I were introduced to Ray Comfort’s teachings in 2013, and I knew that I was being led to proclaim God’s Word to our lost world. By the providence of God, we ran right into Tommy Waltz on the streets of Raleigh while he was preaching near the courthouse. We became involved in his ministry, and under his training I began proclaiming the Word at events with Gospel of God Ministries. I enjoy heralding at NC State and at other events with our team members, who are all such humble men of God that I can look up to.
In addition to our 3 biological children, God has been so good to choose us for the privilege of adopting 4 children from Ethiopia and China with special needs. I expected to be “picking up my cross” in following this leading, but I was wrong. These children have been a reflection of the Gospel, a reminder of His love for us, and to know that God has chosen to hand-place His arrows at my table is a great responsibility that I cannot successfully do without God leading my life in every aspect. I am so grateful that I am able to lead my family, my 7 children and my wife, by the Word of God through the power of the Holy Spirit and the mercy of God, and that I have the opportunity to disciple the next generation of my family to our King, Lord willing.
I am so grateful to be serving at Superbowl Outreach this coming year and for the opportunity to lift up the name of Jesus in the midst of an a celebration filled with idolatry and drunkeness, pride, and darkness. May His light shine.
Our family writes about our testimony on our website, www.roepnack.blogspot.com
Frank Rollberg – Muscle Shoals, AL
In the year 2000 God saved me by his amazing grace. I was raised Catholic when I was younger but my family only went on Christmas and Easter. I was sent to catechism classes and conformation classes but it meant nothing to me. It was just what you did back then. I lived my life as a rebel and was a wicked man only living for self. But at work one day at lunch there was a young man sitting across the table who was a JW. And he asked me if I were to die would I go to heaven?
I said yes I thought I was pretty good person compared to the rest of mankind, I said I did more good things than bad. He asked if I had a Bible at home and I said yes. He said read it. So I picked up the Bible never read it in my life and started reading it for the first time and GOD started to open my eyes. I couldn’t put it down there was a hunger there that was never there before. After some months of non stop reading the Truth of His Word God was convicting me showing me that I was a wicked lost man born in sin and that I was not good at all according to His standard. In the spring of the year 2000 in my room one night broken over my sin I cried out to God to save me and forgive me of all my sin confessing and forsaking all the sin I could remember in my life repenting of all that I could remember and asking God to change my heart to love and follow Him in obedience putting my trust my faith in Him alone. From that day forward God changed my heart to seek after him and gave me such a hunger for Him and His Word. I had to tell people about Him and what He has done for me from that point on begain sharing with people especially my wife Lisa who thought I was absolutely out of my mind. She was not a believer at that time it took a couple of years for God to save her also Praise His Glorious Name! Tried to find a Biblical Church in the suburb of Chicago where we lived at the time and just couldn’t find anything biblical without driving 2 hours from our house. Evently heard Paul Washer speak in Alabama and a few years after that in 2008 we evently moved to Alabama to get our family under the preaching of the Word we took it that seriously. Our families thought we were crazy but we moved anyway. Went to the same church that we seen Paul Washer speak and about 3 years ago my Pastor who is involved with Heartcry planted a Church in the area and we are part of that work right now where we are members. We have the full support of our Church and Pastor for the evangelistic ministry that we do in and around the area which consists of open air preaching, college campus ministry etc. May our Great God receive All the Glory. There is No King but Christ!!
Ed Romine – Fort Worth, TX
I live in Fort Worth, Texas. God saved me from His holy wrath and my sins in 2006. I have been active in street evangelism since 2013. I love preaching God’s good news both on the streets and in the pulpit. I am an active member of Rock Creek Baptist Church in Crowley, Texas. I am under the authority of this local body. My ministry would not be possible without Rock Creek. I have been blessed to street preach and evangelize in Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Utah, and New York. I fully support SFOI in its ministry endeavors.
I have served with Brother Bill Adams in two Superbowl outreaches (NYC and Phoenix) and one final four outreach (Dallas). I currently am pursuing my MDiv at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a concentration in Greek and Hebrew.. I’m looking to graduate in May 2016.
Jaycen Saab – Bridgeport, WV
Jaycen Saab was raised in a Roman Catholic home until leaving for the U.S. Navy a month after graduating high school. While in the military he waded in and out of religious gatherings of both Roman Catholicism and Evangelical services. Upon returning home he spent many years without a saving relationship with Christ bouncing in and out of bars playing with bands and then running a successful DJ/karaoke business.
While still DJ’ing he began attending his first Protestant church. Soon thereafter, he professed Christ through the traditional sinner’s prayer and only 3 short months later, it was obvious he was simply another false convert.
In October 2004, spurned by a family tragedy, he surrendered to Christ and has been growing and walking with our Lord ever since his true conversion.
In 2005, he felt the call to ministry and began as a youth pastor and worship leader only to discover many unbiblical practices as typical in the seeker-friendly church in America.
After eventually finding a Biblical church, he served for 3 1/2 years as worship leader and itinerant preacher which led to answering the call of an evangelist. In 2013 he arrived at his current church only to find that the elders had been praying for someone with the gift of evangelism to 1 1/2 yrs prior to his arrival. The church stood in agreement that modern evangelism methods fall short of being Biblical and there is a need to return to the Biblical examples of street preaching.
Since then, he leads the street team at his church. His ministry takes him throughout all of Appalachia in West Virginia focusing on festivals, city streets, and any events where a large gathering people may be found.
He is married and has 4 children and is a commissioned evangelist by his church Fellowship Bible Church and founder of West Virginia for the Gospel. www.wv4g.org
Tom Sadowski – Denton, TX
Although blessed to have been raised in a stable, loving, and even religious home (to some extent), there was absolutely no exposure to the Bible itself in my upbringing, and thus, to biblical (true) Christianity. It was while in the U.S. Marine Corps, as a young (18) Marine private not too long out of boot camp, that I heard the Gospel declared for the very first time —via some open-air preachers in downtown San Diego, CA. Just seemed like pretty radical stuff to me at the time, no doubt: Bible thumpers. But that unforgettable night, which I still have some pretty vivid recollection of, most surely shook the small world I was then living in, at least to some extent. Less than a month later, by the grace of God and the work of the Holy Spirit (and human instrumentality of my two roommates in the barracks in North Carolina where I was by then stationed), I came to true, biblical repentance and saving faith in Jesus Christ.
Well, that (1975) was over 41 years ago! “Time flies,” indeed. Shortly after moving from my home state of Michigan to Texas in 1981, where I have lived ever since, I met my wife Betty at a Bible camp meeting in Louisiana, to whom I have now been married for nearly 33 years. We have six mostly grown children (31 down to 17), and two precious, delightful granddaughters. Not long after moving to TX, I was providentially brought under the teaching/preaching of the “doctrines of grace” (aka “Calvinism”) in the church I began attending in Denton, TX, which, more than anything I believe, greatly elevated my understanding of the spiritual world, and really all of life, from a mostly MAN-centered view of it all to a much more GOD-centered and GOD-exalting view of everything that pertains to our lives in this lower, temporal world.
It was under such a theological framework of “religious instruction,” if you will, that I first began to be burdened for the lost souls of people, mostly young kids/teenagers at the time, and first open-air preached, on the “main drag” here in Denton where they congregated in droves in those days, in the summer of 1984, with one, another dear brother (and later, with another brother for perhaps a few years or so) from the local church we all faithfully attended. Approximately five or so years after the initial evangelistic experience, I first began preaching at the main local university here in Denton, from which I had graduated, as an English major, a year or two before. (Preaching at university campuses especially intimidated me in the earliest years of such evangelism . . . not that doing it elsewhere was “a piece of cake,” by any means.)
Nearly twenty years later (with lots of M-F/9-to-5 sort of employment, intensive child rearing, learning to be a better husband, and a number of years spent in “Dungeon Seminary” [long story] in between), in the amazing providence of God, I met some solid brothers in Christ in downtown Dallas in October 2008, independently doing street evangelism there (I was there with one other man). This was a truly noteworthy encounter, as it began to open up a whole new world of evangelistic opportunities that I never even knew existed: big sporting events like the Super Bowl, the summer Olympics, and the World Series; organized “campus tours” to preach and minister at multiple universities in close (or relatively close) geographical proximity; evangelism at foreign countries such as Jamaica, the United Kingdom, and Ireland; as well as at other venues such as at abortion clinics, “gay pride” parades, etc.
Specifically with Sports Fan Outreach International, I have been blessed to participate at seven out of the last eight Super Bowls (in order: Tampa, Miami, Dallas-Ft. Worth, (Indianapolis—missed), New Orleans, New York City, Phoenix, and San Francisco); the rugby World Cup in New Zealand nearly five years ago; the Olympics in London (summer of 2012); and other events, plus, God willing, the summer Olympics coming up here in a few more months in Rio Di Janeiro, Brazil. Also hoping to preach some outdoors in Israel in less than a month with a brother in the Lord, as he and I and our wives will travel there as part of a big tour group.
I hope it goes without saying (but I will indeed say it nonetheless) that all such evangelism is not “an end” in itself. Rather, CHRIST, and our need—EVERYONE’s desperate and urgent need of Him in His atoning, saving work upon the Cross—is the end. May the Gospel of Christ, our merciful and great Redeemer, be continuously advanced, while we have breath in our lungs. And to GOD alone be all of the glory, honor, and praise, for evermore.
Peter Salas – Monroe, GA
I am 48 years old, and have been married for 20 years to Andrea. We have two sons (Jarod, 16 and Jonah 14). I was raised Catholic but walked away from it when I turned 18 years old, and continued to wander around as a pagan until the Lord saved me in the summer of 2000.
For over seven years, the Lord has allowed me to be a part of a wonderful group of men with whom I have been ministering in Athens, GA, near the campus of the University of Georgia. By the grace of God, SBO ’17 will be my 5th opportunity to preach the Gospel at the Super Bowl. To God be the glory!
Jeff Sauriki – Summerville, SC
My name is Jeff Sauricki. I have lived in Grayson GA for the last 15 years and before that in Northeast Ohio. I will be married 42 year in August to my High School sweetheart Susan. My daughters Amy and Marianne live here in GA as well. I have 10 grandchildren. Amy is mother to two of my granddaughters and Marianne is mother to two granddaughters and 6 grandsons. I am a member of Lilburn Alliance Church in Tucker.
God called me to be an evangelist in 2009 and that same year I attended Living Waters Ambassador Academy #11. Some of my service to God has included going weekly to a Youth Detention Center for 5 years, the last 4 Super Bowl outreaches, Fall for Greenville, Dogwood Festival, monthly trips to minister in Charleston SC and other various ministries in Atlanta. These 6 years have taught me a lot about what I don’t know when it come to God and his word.
My prayer SFOI would honor the Lord, that everyone would be safe, that we would see God at work through us, that the lost would see and hear our compassion for the them and that brothers and sisters in Christ would demonstrate the same love that made 1st century people marvel.
Eric Schievenin – Monroe, NC
Hello brothers! My name is Eric Schievenin, I am 24 years old and have been happily married for a whopping 3 years. I’m currently attending RTS Charlotte, while serving as a youth director at Church of the Redeemer in Indian Trail, NC. My wife teaches 4th grade. We do not have children yet, but my wife treats our two cats as such (no doubting it, she’s a cat person).
I was born into a Christian home, where Jesus was talked about often. One night, when I was 5 or 6 years old, I began really listening to the prayers of my parents over me before bed. I wanted that Jesus which they proclaimed. My parents walked me through the gospel that night, and I understood that in many ways I was bad, God was good, and I needed Jesus. I believe that the Holy Spirit was at work in me that night, and that I came to faith. In elementary school, I can remember talking about Jesus on the playground (which is where I found out not everyone was a Christian).
During middle school, I experienced a period of backsliding. It was actually one of my non-Christian friends who God used to point out to me that I was not acting like myself. Near the end of middle school, I struggled with the question of whether I was actually saved, because of the way I had acted (I did not understand that justification is not an instant perfectionism). Through the help of wonderful mentors, particularly two youth pastors and a friend, I came to an assurance of salvation. God had used them to rekindle my excitement for Jesus! After that experience, I knew I was being called to be a mentor to others, and I have been pursuing the ministry ever since.
I have never engaged in street preaching. If I’m honest, I am terrified… but that we are never alone! I trust this time with you all will be challenging and exhausting, but extremely edifying and glorifying. I pray that the Gospel shines forth, even through my weakness.
Andy Schmelzer – Summersville, WV
Andy grew up Catholic but at a very young age knew something was missing. As a teen, siblings shared the good news in an ask Jesus in your heart way. This, he embraced and lived as a false convert until the Lord granted him repentance about the age of 35. He and his wife learned biblical evangelism in 2004 stumbling across WOTM TV show. Since then evangelism for them was forever changed.
He with his wife started Fishers of Men Medical Ministries and did overseas evangelical/medical missions from 2003-2011 and has since then focused on local evangelism in the immediate area and around the US. He looks forward to serving Bill and the team members that the Lord will put together through prayer. Lately the U of Oregon has been Andy’s weekly fishing hole and when school is out the weekly local farmer’s market. May God rise up more laborers to join the harvest.
As of September Andy and Victoria moved to Summersville, WV and are looking forward to being closer to their grandkids. Andy has joined up with Jaycen Saab who is nearby for ministry and looks forward to growing that friendship and doing summer festival ministry as well as getting involved in preaching at WVU and Marshall campuses. He has preached at some Mountaineer football games and found the stadium to be a fruitful place to preach Christ and will look forward to the same at Marshall games.
Andy is looking forward to being closer to other ministry opportunities in the east and southeast at some NASCAR speedways as well as joining SFOI for Kentucky Derby and other events that are located closer to his new home.
Duane Schneider – Oakfield, WI
My name is Duane, I am from Fond du Lac Wisconsin. I am married and have two children, I am self-employed and seeking to pursue Evangelism with much more of my time. I was brought up in the church and was a false convert for 30+years but in God’s sovereignty He saved me, after I started reading my Bible in January of 1998. I enjoy taking the Gospel to the Super BowlOutreachs, Packer games, local county fairs, and to the lakefront in my city. I have a great burden for false converts and those caught up in the cults. “Evangelism’s highest and ultimate end is not the welfare of men, not even their eternal bliss, but the glorification of God.” – R. B. Kuiper
Bill ‘DOC’ Shank – South Saint Paul, MN
My name is Bill ‘DOC’ Schank. I was born in the Town of Cottage Grove, Minnesota; and I am the middle of seven Children. I was raised up in the Roman Catholic religion. I graduated High School in 1982. Two months after graduating high school I enlisted in the United States Air Force.
Praise the LORD, I have been Open Air Preaching for over eight years. The ministry which God has called me to involves me traveling throughout the United States and abroad to other countries preaching the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ including one to one witnessing to the lost. The bulk of my time evangelizing was done in the Spring, Summer, and Fall months. I thank the Lord for giving me the opportunity to travel and share his Holy word.
Ed Smith – Stanwood, WA
Praise the Lord O my soul! My name is Ed Smith. I have a wonderful wife and two great kids age 19 and 17. I have been a professing Christian since 1998, but it wasn’t until I started watching the Way of the Master show in 2007 that I really started to see that I did not have a healthy fear of God in my life. It was then that I repented of my sin and started to truly trust Jesus alone for my salvation. I immediately wanted to reach the lost and began seeking out the Way of the Master training so I could learn more. I was blessed to be led by a very godly man through both the basic and intermediate training courses. We would go out and pass out tracts and talk with the lost about Jesus. In 2008 I attended the Ambassadors Academy and was blown away at what I saw and experienced I also met some awesome brothers! This was the first time that I got up on a box to preach. Glory to God! The unofficial evangelism team I was on in Phoenix went out every first Friday of the month to an art walk to preach, hand out tracts and talk with the lost, and we went to other events like the All Star Game weekend that came to Phoenix. It was a blessing and an honor to serve with those brothers. Some of us were able to go to the 2012 Super Bowl in Indianapolis with SBO and I am so looking forward to glorifying God and preaching in San Francisco with you all! I am currently living north of Seattle WA, and attending River of Life Community Church on Camano Island. My pastor is very open to evangelism and wants to know more about what we do. Also God just recently opened an opportunity for me to preach to the crowds that are going to hockey games in Everett, WA! Thank you Lord! My prayer is that God moves in the lives of the lost that we speak to, opens their eyes and brings them into the Kingdom!
Brad Snow – Los Angeles, CA
Even though I grew up going to church it wasn’t till by God’s grace I was saved back in August 2000 through faith in Jesus Christ. It was not long after my conversion that I met and started to work with Ray Comfort. Through the ministry of Living Waters I learned how to reach out and share the gospel. I then found other believers who also wanted to intentionally share the gospel. We open-air preached, spoke to people one on one and handed out countless number of gospel tracts. After spending several years of being active in street ministry in Oklahoma and Texas I eventually moved out to Southern California where I work in house at Living Waters. The same ministry that had been so equipping to me to be a witness for Christ. Currently I go out Friday nights with my church to share the gospel one on one at an outdoor shopping area in Orange, CA. My family and I also go Saturday mornings to reach out with the gospel outside of an abortion mill in Riverside, CA.
This will be my 5th Super Bowl Outreach and my first opportunity to lead a team at this outreach. I have lead past teams at other evangelism outreach events such as the Ambassador Academies that Living Waters hosted. Even after several years of going to various evangelism outreach events and intentionally meeting people each week to share the good news, I still struggle with fear and hesitancy to speak. But I keep going in spite of my fears and ignore my feelings of hesitancies.
I have been married to my wife for over 25 years and we have 5 children. We have 4 girls and 1 boy. My boy Nathan (20) is our oldest and the girls are Megan (18), Morgan (18), Jordan (9), and Lauran (5). Two of our children are special needs which was an unexpected plan of God that has stretched us and blessed us. Not just our immediate family but even to many who know us.
I was born in Trinidad and Tobago and adopted into a family that gave me a foundation in Christianity. After migrating to the UK in August of 2000 I returned in 2007 to get baptized.
I currently attend Ruach City Church and have been at this ministry for the last 11- 12 years (barring a 2-year absence when I attended Eden Vine Ministries). During my time at Ruach I served both in the Hygiene and Homeless ministry, which is where I currently serve. Here I am part of a team that ministers to the needs of those that attend our weekly evangelism, teaching and support sessions. The goal of which is to spread the gospel while also dealing with the practical needs of those in attendance. As such, I regularly lead groups where we dissect the word of God in relevance to some of the issues faced, offering, prayer, advice or just an ear as needed.
I also had the privilege of leading my Universities’ Christian-Union as President during 2011-2012, promoting a union that was centred on evangelism and developing a presence on and off campus. Ultimately this gave me an opportunity to really get involved in Evangelism, which is something I always loved doing, while it can be challenging at times. Ultimately I have for some time now felt drawn to such a lifestyle particularly from a public outreach perspective. I have thus decided to dedicate my several social media platforms to the spread the gospel and discussion of key current Christian topics. My Blog : delearn.net
Steven Stanley – Morehead, KY
My name is Steven Stanley and I live in Morehead KY with my wife and two sons. I have worked in healthcare for 19 years, but my calling is to preach the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ!
I lived the majority of my adult life as a non-believer, then was a false convert for about 2 years before God granted me genuine repentance and faith in His precious Son. He immediately placed a burden on my heart for the lost. Over the last 6 years I have grown by God’s grace in my evangelism endeavors. I have attended the Super Bowl Outreaches in New Orleans, New York, Phoenix, San Francisco and also the last four KY Derby Outreaches. I live in a college town so when school is in session I enjoy going to campus to open air preach and hand out Gospel tracts. I also travel to Lexington, KY to minister with Cities for Life-Lexington outside the abortion clinic.
I am also a seminary student at Covenant Baptist Theological Seminary in Owensboro, KY seeking my Masters in Pastoral Studies and ultimately my MDiv.
It is a privilege and honor to preach Christ and Him crucified and I look forward to laboring with my brothers and sisters in the Lord! SDG!
Greg Stephens – Garner, NC
My name is Greg Stephens. I’m a local missionary evangelist who lives in Raleigh, North Carolina. I spend my time open air preaching at the college campuses, downtown, and at local events, as well as serving and equipping my local church and others in evangelism, abortion clinic outreach, etc. God has blessed me with a wonderful wife, Angela, and two boys, James and Jonathan, “my sons of thunder!” I was saved on Father’s Day, June 18th, 2000 in Las Vegas, discipled in my local church, attended a Bible college for two years, served as youth pastor, and then moved to Raleigh in 2010 to serve God and share Christ. It’s a privilege and my passion to preach Christ publically with courage, compassion and clarity.
Mark Sumpter – Richmond, VA
I have been serving as an Orthodox Presbyterian Church minister since 1993, and I look forward to learning to serve in open air preaching and public ministries of evangelism. I live in the Houston area and several of us are seeking to plant churches in Houston and the greater Southwest of the USA. Presently, my title is Regional Home Missionary. Looking forward to meeting all y’all.
Jamie Terry – Hendersonville, TN
My name is Jamie Terry and I am a full-time evangelist and street preacher with Revival-USA. I live in Hendersonville Tennessee with my wife and two children. I preach full-time on the streets of Downtown Nashville, sporting events, college campuses, and anywhere else people gather. I lived as a false convert from the age of seven and was truly converted in February of 2011 as I listened to Paul Washer’s, “Shocking Youth Message”. That day I realized I was a totally depraved sinner and a false convert who was headed for hell. For the first time in my life I understood the cross and that God crushed His only Son in my place. By the grace of God I responded to the gospel in repentance towards God and faith in Jesus Christ. Since that day I have been consumed with Christ and His word. He gave me a new heart with new desires. I now long to see the gospel preached among the nations and to see God glorified in the name of Jesus Christ.
Emilio Torres – Albuquerque, NM
Heavy partier and womanizer in college, went into the Air Force as an aircraft maintenance officer, out of the Air Force, married, into sales, divorced and born again in 1991. God called me to become a teacher, went back for my second degree in education and taught mid-school and elementary. Have been a leader for evangelistic missions to Spain and Honduras, a youth group leader, Bible study leader, preach at a local rescue mission once a month and have a praise band called PB for J, (Praise Band for Jesus). Married again in my 40’s, (to my amazing bride and best friend Midge), blended family with six children, (all adults now), one and a third grandchildren. I am now semi-retired, (I do 1/2 time I.T. for a charter school), and am excitingly awaiting the chance to share the incomparable gift of salvation with others.
Brad Tower – Fairfax, IA
I attended church my entire life and professed to be a believer in Christ. When I was in my mid-twenties I read a book called “Way of the Master”, listened to “Hell’s Best Kept Secret” and the “True and False Conversion”. After going through these materials multiple times I finally understood what biblical repentance was and it became very obvious I had never been born again. It was at that point that I gave my life to Jesus Christ. Right away I had a desire to share the gospel with lost people. For over 4 years I watched hundreds of hours of other people witnessing and doing open air preaching. I was also reading and studying many materials on the subject of evangelism. All the while I never witnessed to anyone.
Eventually, I realized if I was ever going to witness I was going to have to just do it by myself and learn to deal with my fears of talking to people. So I started going to the bar section of town on the weekends and walked around passing out tracts and talking to people. Shortly after I started witnessing I attended the Ambassadors Academy in the summer of 2010 and again in 2011. These academies really helped me step out of my comfort zone and not only witness to people one on one and pass out tracts but also to open air preach, something I have been doing for 4 and a half years now on the University of Iowa campus. Last year I attended the Super Bowl Outreach in Phoenix and am looking forward to another great experience in San Francisco this year!
Ivan Town – Allen Park, MI
My name is Ivan and I live in Michigan near Detroit. I was born in a much more rural section of the state eventually got my BS in computer science. But don’t think I’m a math pro – I had to make up for serious slacking by summer classes, a 5th year and tons of grace. (that I was unaware of at the time)
I got married and we moved to Maine for her med school adventure. It’s a beautiful place. Be sure to stop through there if you can. In Maine I was hired by my current employer. I mostly do website programming. They even let me work from home now that I’ve had to move away! It’s been a tremendous blessing from the Lord to have this job which I love.
Our first son was born in Maine and our daughter was born while in residence in Quincy, Illinois.
All that time, I thought that I was a Christian. I had no idea how ignorant and foolish I was. During a difficult marital time, the Lord opened my eyes and commandeered my life. Romans 8:28 burned it’s reality into my soul soon after. Although my marriage dissolved, our Master was leading me somewhere I never imagined.
I thank and praise the Lord for transforming an introvert like me into someone who is completely willing to be a fool for Christ. As it seems to be our Lord’s custom, He continued to astound me by raising up some like-minded evangelism crazies like me at my church!
I’m grateful to be able to serve the body as a foot. I’m so happy to be saved from myself. I pray that I’m able to love Jesus more by loving his church. I look forward to spending time with you in service to our Captain.
Joseph R. Toy, Jr. – Folcroft, PA
Joe grew up in Shillington, PA and attended First EC Church of Reading. He is a 1978 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School. In 1982, he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from Millersville University. In the spring of 1982 as a senior in college, Joe committed his life to Jesus Christ. Upon graduation, Joe began his career as an accountant in Trenton, NJ. During this time, he attended Newtown Community Church in Newtown, PA. While attending this church, Joe felt the call to full time ministry. He left his job to attend Moody Bible Institute for a 3-week seminar on Urban Evangelism with plans to attend Evangelical Seminary in the fall of 1984. When Joe returned from Moody, he began a street ministry in the city of Reading called Inner City Campaigners. From this street ministry, an outreach to children and teens began at First EC of Reading called The Source. This ministry continued from 1984 to 1988 when Joe moved to Philadelphia, PA. Joe began his theological studies at Evangelical in 1984 and ended in 1987. During this time, Joe became a commissioned missionary and a licensed preacher in the Evangelical Congregational Church in May of 1985.
In 1985, Joe and Wendy met at Evangelical Seminary while working on his Masters of Divinity studies. They were married at the chapel at Evangelical on March 22, 1986. Joe and Wendy have five sons. Jared(1987), Seth(1989), Ethan(1989), Aaron(1991) and Adam(1984). The boys were primarily home schooled from 1991 to 2013. Both Jared and Seth serve in The U.S. Coast Guard. Ethan is a career firefighter/paramedic in Currituck County, North Carolina. Aaron is employed at Wellesley Assisted care Facility as a food services manager. Adam serves in the U.S. Air Force. Joe and Wendy have been blessed with six grandchildren named: Forest, Joseph Conner, Morgan, Savannah and Jackson.
In 1988, Joe and Wendy moved to Philadelphia to begin an association With Open Air Campaigners. During this time, they worked in an internship status with this mission board. The ministry of Open Air Campaigners is to do the work of Evangelism and to train others in Evangelism in an urban setting. This association lasted until 1992 when Joe resigned because of doctrinal issues that conflicted with the EC Church. Upon resolution of the proposed doctrinal changes within OAC, Joe served as an associate evangelist with them until 2000. Joe now serves on the board of directors of OAC, Inc. At this point Joe became one of the few Evangelical Congregational Church Denominational missionaries, which is a status that continued until 2008. In 1993, Joe established a ministry called Open Air Ministries-Philadelphia. Now Joe has formed his own 501c non-profit corporation called Open Air Ministries, Inc from 2009 until the present day.
Joe’s ministry is primarily evangelistic by nature. Outreach is conducted at bus stops, subways, college campuses, center city, parades, events, neighborhoods, parks and other areas in and around the Metro Philadelphia Area. Joe does weekly outreach in Camden, NJ and in the summer conducts outreach at the New Jersey, Maryland and Delaware beach resorts. Through the years, Joe has been involved in the Philadelphia Port Ministry from 1988 to 2001. Also, much outreach has been done in inner city neighborhoods with children. Joe was a co-pastor for Metro Kids an outdoor kid’s church in various locations in Philadelphia from 2007 to 2011. Many times a year Joe travels to national events such as Mardi Gras, Indy 500, Spring Break Florida, Senior Week in Ocean City, MD and others to share the gospel. Another large part of Joe’s work is training others in evangelism. Joe spends a number of weeks each year training youth groups, college students, missionary candidates and others in evangelism. Some of these groups spend time with in Philly for a day or a week. The summer is especially busy with hosting these teams, including a number of EC Church youth groups. Joe and Wendy and Aaron live in Folcroft, which is in Delaware County, PA. Folcroft is located very close to the Philadelphia Airport. They attend Crossroads Community Church, which is in Upper Darby.
Chike Uzuegbunam – Loganville, GA
I am 24-years old, and am unworthy to declare the soul-electrifying gospel of Jesus Christ. I am currently attending Georgia Gwinnett College and, Lord willing, plan to graduate this summer of 2017 with a Bachelors in Exercise Science.
To God alone be the glory for His precious Son giving away His life for a formerly wretched and miserable sinner such as I. At the age of 20 the God of glory summoned me from the dungeon of my putrid wickedness into the marvelous and Most Blessed light of Jesus Christ. Then at the age of 22, He gloriously illuminated my eyes to the beautiful doctrines of His grace. The moment God opened my eyes to realize the miraculous sovereign work of regeneration, my heart was immediately awakened to the infinite and holy greatness of Almighty God. My soul has been, by the grace of God, desperately enamored with the unsearchable riches of the beauty of Christ. Since then the Lord has bestowed upon my heart a blazing passion to lift up and herald the Resurrected Savior.
The Lord God has made clear to me that I am to seek and continually hunger after Christ all the days of my life and preach the gospel to as many souls as possible for the glory of the Enthroned Lamb. Woe is me if I do not preach the gospel of God, and as a bondservant of His glory I will channel all my efforts and abilities to declare Christ and Him Crucified. May all glory be unto God and our Reigning Savior Jesus Christ both now and forevermore. Amen!
Dennis Vance – Springfield, MO
I am Dennis Vance and I live in Springfield, MO. God has blessed me with my godly wife – Polly. I grew up going to church and I said the sinner’s prayer when I was 11 years old. But there was no change in my life after I asked Jesus to save me. I lived as a false convert for the next 33 years until God graciously saved me while reading the Bible in the Fall of 2007. He convicted me with Matthew 7:21-23 and then He converted me with Romans 8:1 when He revealed to me that for all those years I had still lived in the flesh instead of walking with Christ in the Spirit. Immediately I repented and put my faith in Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. Thank You Lord for saving me!
Then in the beginning of 2009 God convicted me that I needed to share my faith in Jesus with others. I didn’t know how to share the Gospel until a Christian co-worker loaned me the first season of Way of the Master and after the second episode I was on the phone ordering tracts. I’ve been street witnessing ever since. There is no greater privilege or honor than lifting up the name of Jesus Christ in the open-air. My hope and prayer is that God will allow me to do this kingdom work until the day I die.
Tommy Waltz – Raleigh, NC
I grew up in a family with no religious background. The leaders in my life were alcoholics and loved pornography, so this was my influence. I was born a twin. While I was in the womb, my position did not allow my right side to develop properly. I entered the world partially paralyzed and developed a speech impediment when I started talking. In the fourth grade I was diagnosed with a learning and reading disability. I was picked on a lot in school and was told that I was slow and dumb. During my late teenage years my father told me that I was not going to work on his farm because of my slow comprehension. I found work in Columbia, South Carolina as a personal trainer and my idol became my body. I also joined several rock bands. With my last band we produced a CD and toured the Southeast. This life was from the pits of hell. The longer I lived, the more I hated my life. I had no purpose, no meaning, and no direction.
At the age of twenty-three, a lady invited me to a play on the life of Jesus. It explained His life from birth to His resurrection. This was the start of the whole transformation. I didn’t give my life to Christ that night. I continued running for a year. As I read God’s word, deeper conviction of sin grew. I was on the verge of taking my life, but through God’s grace He spared my life. The night I was going to take my life I found a card in my room from a person that reminded me of Jesus’ love for me. Turning to the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world, I repented and placed my faith in Jesus that night in my room. My view of life is simple – Jesus died and came out of the grave for me, so I have to live for Him.
My Jesus found me broken on my bedroom floor not wanting to live anymore. Oh, how can I not share His Glorious Name? He has taken a slow, crippled boy off a farm in South Carolina and given him new life. I type this with tears in my eyes. I am a man who is blessed beyond measure with an amazing wife who has believed in me from day one and three amazing girls.
May we all boast together in what Jesus Christ has done in all of our lives. We serve an amazing God. He saved us and now He deserves our entire lives.
I have had the opportunity to lead a ministry called Gospel of God Ministries since 2009. GGM preaches and teaches the Gospel until faith becomes action.
The faith has a twofold action. First, it is pulling the unbeliever into the kingdom through repentance and faith in Jesus. Second, it is pushing the believer out into the world to share their faith. Find out more at http://www.gospelgm.com
This will be my fifth SBO with New Orleans, New York, Phoenix, and San Francisco under my belt by God’s grace. I look forward to leading my team alongside the other leaders at next year’s SBO. Go and proclaim the Gospel to see a life transformed!
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.” Romans 1:16
Jeff Warner – Grants Pass, OR
My name is Jeff Warner, I’m 36 years old from Grants Pass, OR. I have a wife and 3 wonderful kids. I didn’t grow up in the church and didn’t even open a Bible until I got saved at age 29. I literally knew nothing about the Bible…I didn’t know about Adam and Eve, Noah, Moses, Jesus, etc, I guess you can say I was a true clean slate. I got saved on Sept 20th 2009.
I have been very active in sharing the Gospel for the past 4 years, prior to that I just didn’t have any idea where to start and didn’t know anybody who did evangelism, which is a sad commentary on modern day Churchianity. I started open air preaching in San Francisco at SBO ’16 and have been preaching regularly ever since. I was blessed to preach with a group of brothers through SFOI in San Diego at the MLB All Star Game as well as several events throughout Oregon and in Reno, NV, etc. The Lord has opened many doors for ministry this year and I can’t wait to preach with the saints at SBO ’17.
Ken White – Riverview, FL
Hi my name is Ken White. By God’s Grace, “I am the husband of one wife”, my beautiful and faithful wife, Webze White. Webze was born and raised in the Philippines, and has been in Christ and faithfully and diligently serving Him for many years, well before the LORD saved me and gave me a new heart.
I am 48 years old and am so incredibly thankful to the LORD to be able to say that I have now been serving the Lord Jesus Christ for more than half of my life – Only by His Mercy and Grace. The LORD saved me around 1990, and very shortly after, I began to share the Gospel (to the best of my understanding at the time) and soon became involved in missions.
In 1993 I went to the Philippines to join a filipino church planting ministry team which included, Webze, as one of the members, and that is where we met. Since that time we have also been involved in other interdenominational ministries, and though we would often question many things regarding various teachings and practices, the Bible, God’s Unchanging Word, has been our anchor all along.
Just over five years ago, I was introduced to the doctrines of Grace, and some truths that were verified for me came together, which impacted me greatly. Very shortly after that, I was compelled by the LORD, including the LORD using a friend’s challenges to me, to begin to preach in the open-air. In the Power of the Holy Spirit and with the confidence of Jesus Christ and His Word, I have been preaching regularly ever since. May our Great God be Praised for all that He does in and through such weak vessels as me! (2 Corinthians 4:5-7 / 1 Corinthians 2:4,5 / 1 Corinthians 1:26-29)
Zoe White – Tickfaw, LA
Hi, my name is Zoe White (pronounced “Zo”). I live in the little Village of Tickfaw, Louisiana; conveniently located between New Orleans and Baton Rouge. My wife, Chelsea, and I are blessed with four beautiful children that keep our home quite lively: Zuri, Cruz, Crozby, and Azalea. (We also have 3 children in Heaven that we look forward to seeing again very soon.)
In 2016, God introduced me to the ministry of Ray Comfort at Living Waters and the concepts of Biblical evangelism. Although I have sensed a call to missions for many years and went on several mission trips around the world, God used the study of Biblical evangelism to convict me of how little I shared the gospel in my daily life and how unbiblical some of my methods were. I repented and asked God to teach me how to share the gospel obediently and faithfully. By His grace, I hand out gospel tracts regularly now, pursue evangelistic conversations everywhere I go, and I started my new life of open air preaching at the Super Bowl Outreach in February 2017. All glory to God for opening my eyes to the need around me! It is such a joy to proclaim the Good News that God is reconciling sinners to Himself through the perfect life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ! As His ambassador, I go forward into the fray, to declare the Good News of my King and Savior, that I may share in His sufferings for the sake of the elect and for His glory!
Through the assistance of Bill Adams and the George Whitefield Program, (and many other evangelists that have offered sound counsel) God has allowed me to establish Declaring Truth Ministries to bring God’s glorious gospel to the New Orleans area and beyond.
Declaring Truth Ministries glorifies God by declaring “the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation” (Eph. 1:13) through open-air preaching, literature distribution, and “everywhere evangelism” so that all peoples would hear and believe in Jesus Christ. Seeking to be good stewards of God’s grace in our lives, we are declaring the gospel of Jesus Christ boldly to all peoples and equipping believers to do the same.
We are building a team of ministry partners now to support our open-air evangelism ministry. You may learn more about partnering with Declaring Truth Ministries at declaringtruth.com/donate.
Ayron Wilson – Jacksonville, FL
I have the privilege to serve by open air preaching when God gives me a chance to show grace to other who don’t seek his face. By God’s grace enable me and others to unite and proclaim the excellencies of HIM who has called us out of darkness into HIS marvelous light. It’s a joy to stand alongside other saints to lift up high the name above all names…JESUS Christ! Whether people come and pray, handout tracts, do 1on1’s or help us preach the name of Christ, we welcome all to come in the name of Christ.
Jerry Wing – Fort Worth, TX
I am currently seeking a Masters of Divinity degree at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. I was raised in a Christian home. I made a profession of faith and was baptized in the second grade. Throughout my teen years, I struggled with intense fear and doubt as to my salvation. Though I have only been baptized once, and I never walked another aisle, it would be safe to say that every time I heard a call to accept Jesus into one’s heart, I was desperately praying that prayer silently. My parents tried to tell me that the sinner’s prayer wasn’t a set of magic words, but for whatever reason, I never grasped what that meant. In my sophomore year at college, I read JD Graear’s Stop Asking Jesus Into Your Heart. That was the first time I truly understood what it meant to place your faith in the completed work of Christ, and rest in that posture of belief and repentance. I do not know when I was saved, exactly. Looking back, despite the fear and doubt, I see possible evidence of God sanctifying me and growing my love for Him, with much deeper growth over the past few years. What I do know is that God called me to Himself, and saved me. He allowed me to place my trust in Him and repent, and now has given me a heart to spread the Gospel wherever I can.
Ryan Woodhouse – Chasebugh, WI
I’m 39, married my HS sweetheart in ’02 and the Lord has given us 2 children, one of each. I’m an aluminum welder and have been working in a factory for 19 years/ I grew up as a nominal Catholic, moved on to being a professing atheist and then “converted” and became a typical lost, lukewarm pew-dweller. After 2-3 years of being a false convert God saved me in the fall of ’07 at the age of 31. It’s only since then have we had the children because I was sooo radically self centered and conceited that there was no way I was going to have a child “control me”. Praise the Lord that when He saves someone….He changes them! Since then my wife has gotten save from an entire life of false conversion as well!
For the past 5 years I’ve been very active in evangelism and basically started street preaching through Project Ezra. Since then I’ve been able to travel a bit around the Midwest preaching in a variety of setting and been so blessed with tremendous fellowship! Most of my evangelism is on a local university and on the streets here in western Wisconsin. More can be learned at www.Mark612.com
Adam Wright – Canton, OH
My name is Adam Wright and I live in Canton, Ohio. I am married with two boys and two girls, one of them will be getting married real soon. I have an evangelistic outreach ministry with my 17 year old son. I am really excited to see what the Lord has in store for us!!!
My testimony is that I was raised in a very strong Christian home with great Christian parents. Middle school and high school were real hard for me and I began to hang around some sketchy kids. I had a rebellious streak a mile long. After I graduated, I went into the Navy and became an agnostic which somehow led to me getting involved in Wicca (paganism) and got real messed up spiritually. I got out of the Navy and lived a life of drugs, blasphemy, death metal, and everything evil I could think of. It seems that the Lord had other plans. He drew me to Himself in ways that sound crazy now. I was radically saved and born again. My life has really never been the same. Evangelism is my passion and I one day hope to be in full time ministry preaching the Gospel to the ends of the Earth, God willing, of course. I am so excited to be a part of this outreach.
Mark Yoho – Sugar Valley, GA
Mark was raised in a non-Christian home in Canton Ohio with a little exposure to Roman Catholicism. Upon Graduation from High school in 1983 he served 3 years active duty military in the US Army. Shortly after discharge, the Nation being in an economic recession, Mark moved to the Atlanta Georgia area seeking employment.
There he met the love of his life and they lived together for 10 years. Through alcohol, drugs, and the pursuit of personal wealth Mark suffered the loss of family and all of his possessions. It was during this time that Mark walked into Newtown Baptist Church in Calhoun GA and heard Pastor David Ray preach a sermon titled, “You must be born again.” As soon as the invitation was given Mark met Pastor Ray in the altar where he repented of sin and trusted CHRIST as his personal Savior. On March 29, 1998 Mark Yoho was born again and life began to radically change. Mark began to share his newfound faith in CHRIST immediately and continued to make it a lifestyle.
Seven months later GOD restored his relationship with the love of his life, he and Gynnette were finally and forever married. Four years later, February 17, 2002, GOD called Mark to preach as an evangelist. As an evangelist Mark has traveled all across the US conducting evangelistic outreaches, teaching evangelism, and preaching revivals. Much of the evangelistic outreaches have been in the inner city and at major events. Since December 1, 2007 Mark has served GOD as a full time vocational evangelist in his own ministry, the Fourth Watch Evangelistic Ministry www.fourthwatchministry.com.
Mark and Gynnette live in the little community of Sugar Valley, nestled in the mountains of North Georgia. They have two married children and their home church is Grove Level Baptist Church in Dalton GA www.grovelevel.org
