Game Summaries

9/14 – vs. Pitt

This past sat was a brief moment in time when folks heard the gospel, maybe for the first time ever.  I had a privilege of speaking to a family of five about Our Lord Jesus Christ to church goers who’s kids simply had no idea of the good news of Christ.  Preaching at this event has been an eye opener in the sense as people every walk of life simply do not take the time out of their busy schedules to recognize the punishment of their sins, and the need to look to a savior that had taken all of all punishment and nailing our sin to a cross.  What an honor it is to be able to address this issue as an ambassador of the Lord to such a volume of people.  I can not say enough, but what a privilege it is.

9/7 – vs. Buffalo

As we arrived sat at the stadium people saw us and became interested in what we were doing.  My friend opened up preaching and that allowed me time for two fans that came asking a lot of questions.  I asked them about their own personal beliefs, and listened and at the end was able to simply present to them their need in the gospel. We gave out tracts and were able to put two bibles in the hands of two fans. These  games are tremendous they give us an opportunity to share our hope to thousands of people and we’re able to engage a lot of people with the hope that is extended to them through our Lord Jesus.

8/31 – vs. Idaho

I started off with the story of the Rich man and Lazarus.  My message was themed a great separation. I had some mockers mostly drunkards come up to me, but that allowed me an opportunity to present him, a drunk the gospel. Also, had conversations with four girls and 1 guy about morals in our society. That lead to a clear presentation of the gospel, and to talk about morals in today’s society, that apart from God we’re all subject to relativity. They shook my hands and appreciated the chat.  I absolutely love being out around that many people sharing the old, old story of redemption and urging men to reach repentance and come to the knowledge of Him.

More About Chris:

Chris Teal – Dillsburg, PA

My name is Chris Teal. I was raised Catholic, and attended a local church faithfully.  None of that set me free from the bondage of a life of sin. It was all in the name of good works that I went to church on Sundays.  That is not what saved my soul and made me become renewed. My conversion came about when I decided to truly open up the scriptures and read what God’s Truth is all about.  Hearing the preaching of the cross is when I repented of my sin and asked for His forgiveness. It was the power of God’s Spirit that made the change in my life that I was absolutely helpless to do on my own after exhausting efforts.  While reading the scriptures I began developing a compassion for lost souls. I reached out to an evangelist by the name of Tommy Waltz at Gospel of God Ministries who discipled me through a curriculum to learn how I can share my faith. As my faith became action I had an increasing desire to see souls won to the Lord. I was then introduced to Sports Fans Outreach, which allowed me to participate in major sporting events proclaiming the gospel to sports fans.
