Game Summaries

10/5 – vs. Iowa

There were four people: one first timer, Lydia, Jason, Nick, and Sarah (me). It was the homecoming game, so there were a bunch more people than usual, including the Hare Krishna. I was able to give tracts to some new Hare Krishna.
Lydia loved the experience!! She is my roommate in Bible college. She isn’t used to big crowds, because she grew up on the mission field in Mexico, but she told me she loved the ministry, and the experience to share the Gospel and pass tracts.

9/28 – vs. Rutgers

I was able to give some tracts to some new Hare Krishna that were at the game, and there was a lady in a wheelchair that stopped to listen to the preaching for quite a while. I didn’t have any conversations at length, but we were all pleased that the crowd seemed friendlier than usual.

I’m pretty sure it was Mike’s first time, and he shared about a guy who flipped him off. After he was flipped off, Mike said, “God bless you sir, have a good day!” The guy stopped in his tracks and said, “You have a good day too!” Mike shared that he really enjoyed his time.

9/7 – vs. Army

How many people were with you at each game?

Four people: Jeremiah, Nick, Jason, Sarah (me)

1. A testimonial of an encounter with a fan

Jeremiah and I shared the Gospel with some U of M students named Anthony and Robin. They were really open to the Gospel, and I don’t think they heard the true Gospel before. It was so encouraging, because it seemed like they really wanted to understand what we were saying.

We saw the Hare Krishna team doing their chants after the parade, and I was able to give them tracts.

8/31 – vs. Middle Tennessee

How many people were with you at each game?

Four people: two first timers, Hans and Jeremiah

 Jason and Sarah (me)

1. A testimonial of an encounter with a fan

We talked with a guy named Tom who came up to us at the beginning of the outreach. He told us he goes to Hazel Park Baptist church, and he went out of his way to tell us he appreciated what we were doing.

2. If they are new, a testimonial about their experience evangelizing at a game.

Hans spoke to a guy named Ryan for a while. Ryan was trying to convince Hans that the kind of evangelism we were doing wasn’t the right way to share the Gospel, and Hans tried to explain to him why we were sharing the Gospel the way we were.

More About Jason:

Jason Bradshaw – Riverview, MN

Hi I’m Jason Bradshaw.  I’m 34 years old. I’m married to a blessing from the Lord named Kelly.  We have been married for almost 5 years. We don’t have any children but we have a dog that we treat like a son lol.  For roughly 20 years I believed I was a Christian, but after practicing a lifestyle of deliberate sin against God, the Lord granted me the gift of repentance and faith!  My life has never been the same. I finally realized that the sinner’s prayer does not save. King Jesus saves! I’m so blessed and forever grateful to be adopted as one of God’s children.  I’m a recruiter by trade, but the Lord has ignited a strong desire in me for evangelism. It still amazes me to this day that the Lord would give me so much joy in sharing the Gospel! I’m so blessed to be able to share this passion with my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ!  Praise Jesus!
