Game Summaries

10/5 – vs. Georgia Bulldogs

Today is Monday October 7, 2019. Yesterday was a great day in Church history for the Body of Christ and the word of God. William Tyndale who put the word of God in the English language for the first time was burned at the stake by the Roman Catholic Church. In another 80 years his Tyndale Bible would be part of the foundation for the production of the greatest Bible ever produced, the KING JAMES 1611 AUTHORIZED VERSION, God’s holy infallible Scriptures.

This past weekend was a great time for preaching the word of God. My partner Paul Johnson and I were at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee at the college football 🏈 game. I personally gave out over 500 tracts and Paul gave out over 100 tracts. We both preached verbally a number of times in about a 4 hour span. God was gracious. Pray for all of the seed that was sown. It was a great and wonderful time of preaching the gospel of the grace of God -I Corinthians 15:1-4 – to large crowds of the unsaved.

On Sunday I preached the morning message at my home church In Etowah, Tennessee.

All in all it was a great time in the Lord preaching the truth of the word of God.

ALL GLORY TO GOD AND THE LAMB THAT WAS SLAIN WHO HATH BORNE ALL OUR SIN AND HATH CLEANSED EVERY STAIN!!!

Let us all be the faithful royal ambassadors of Christ we should be.

Until next time I remain your fellowsoldier,
Dr. Mark Underwood

9/14 – @GA Tech

Today is Sunday September 15, 2019. Yesterday I was again in Atlanta, Georgia at the Georgia Tech University street preaching and giving out gospel tracts. I was on my usual corner of North Ave in front of the entrance to the stadium for their football game. I arrived at 8:30am and stayed until the game started at 12:30 pm. God blessed me with another great day of sowing seed especially among the students. I gave out close to 400 tracts 90% of them going to the students. Considering that I had given out 500+ tracts there last Saturday that even amazes me. I verbally preached one time for nearly 45 minutes to the crowd. The weather was sunny but not as hot as last week and I was thankful for that. I had a great opportunity to share a witness to a number of the policemen there and thank them for what they do. According to Romans 13 they are God’s ministers. God has been so good to me to protect me while driving there and back from my home in Rome, GA – 62 miles each way. The traffic is ungodly 7 days a week. I75 is the most traveled interstate in America. I call it the highway to Hell. Atlanta is one of the most wicked cities in America but that’s why I preach there so much. They need it. GOD IS FAITHFUL!! Pray for all of the seed to bear fruit for His glory! While I was in Atlanta my partners Bill Adams and Paul Johnson were preaching at the football game at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN. Pray for us every day! ALL GLORY TO GOD AND THE LAMB THAT WAS SLAIN WHO HATH BORNE ALL OUR SIN AND HATH CLEANSED EVERY STAIN!!! Until next time I remain your fellowsoldier, Dr. Mark Underwood King James Bible Ministry

8/31 – vs. GA State Panthers

Today is Monday September 2 and a holiday in America called Labor Day. This past weekend was the opening of college football season. It also opens the door for preaching and giving out gospel tracts.

This past Saturday was a great day for me and my friends to do so at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee. I was joined by my two partners Paul Johnson and Jay Snead and (praise God) 3 brand new partners from the Knoxville area. They were pastor Wayne Sexton, Jerry Livingston and one more whose name I can’t remember. Paul and I do the verbal street preaching and we all give out gospel tracts. It was a hot sunny day and over 100,000 fans were at the game. I personally gave out close to 500 tracts and we think we all together gave out over 1000 tracts. PRAISE THE LAMB OF GOD!! I preached the saving gospel of grace (I Corinthians 15:1-4) 3 different times to the huge crowds going into the game. As the apostle Paul said, “I thank God that he counted me faithful putting me into the ministry.”

All in all it was a wonderful day PUBLICLY exalting the Lord Jesus as the only way to be saved. Of course the 98% of the crowd could care less but my job as an ambassador of Jesus Christ is to sow the seed and the rest is up to the Holy Spirit. I had a number of friends across the country preaching at many football games and I pray for them as well. My friends Bill Adams and Danny Davis were in Atlanta, Georgia preaching at the game there.

Want to help get the gospel out? Try getting gospel tracts and going out to a high school or college football game and giving them out. Pray for me and my friends as we will be doing this each weekend from now through January. ALL GLORY TO GOD AND THE LAMB THAT WAS SLAIN WHO HATH BORNE ALL OUR SIN AND HATH CLEANSED EVERY STAIN!!
