Game Summaries

11/6 - I have a short video I did at the beginning of the game of out time there. It was fairly lite turnout for this game. Was able to encourage a pastor and another christian attending the game this week. It was myself and Rick and Amy Garland for this last game of the season. Passed out about 190 Gospel tracks.

10/30 - He passed out 150 tracts and proclaimed the gospel of Jesus Christ. Watch short clip of Gerry sharing from the game!

10/16 - We had a good outreach at the Bakersfield College football game this last week. I had invited 2 others from my church to join me last week with one showing up. We had myself, Rick and Amy Garland and Anton Labrentz. We were able to pass out about 440 tracts and a few conversations. We also were questioned for the first time by the workers at the game as to what we were doing there. But no objection to our being there. Anton was glad to be there and Lord willing were joining us in the future.

10/2 - I was there last Saturday at 5pm til around 6:30 pm. Rick and Amy Garland was also with me. The foot traffic is light and scattered and we are still undecided as to whether we will open air preach or not. I am some what hesitant as I don't want to be removed from the on campus facility. However tract distribution has gone very well as we were able to pass out about 300 tracts. I took some photos of just the area where I think may be a good spot to preach as the home team. Enter the stadium then walks across to the other side of the stadium. I would preaching through the fence. Still praying about this.

9/11 - Gerry had a great 1st Bakersfield College Renegade Home game!

I was not brought up in a Christian home and was influenced for the Gospel by other family members attending church where the Gospel was proclaimed. I made a profession of faith at around 14 years of age but soon that profession was placed on the back burner during my teen years. While in the Air Force as firefighter at age 20 God had me surrounded by Christians who shared the truth with me and this is the point where I truly believe God saved me and changed my heart for Him. AT around 2003 the Lord caused me through His word to fall in love with the Gospel all over again and gave me a hunger to share Christ with the lost more than I ever had before. I have been greatly encouraged in faith and desire to share Christ by the ministry of Livingwaters/Way of the Master. I have attended Ambassadors Academy which has opened up for me to participate in street evangelism. I am married wonderful woman and have 5 grown children. My desire is share the Gospel with as many people as possible as God allows.
