My name is Corey Lindsey.  I grew up going to charismatic, Word of faith churches. About 15 years ago the Holy Spirit started dealing with me. I began to see that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross was all-sufficient. I needed to be asking God what I could do for Him instead of always focusing on what He could do for me. I put the false teachings of the Word of faith movement behind me. 

After trying out a few churches the Lord led me to a great church where the pastor really exposited the Word of God. This pastor introduced me to the teachings of Spurgeon, Pink, Tozer, Sproul, etc. and I began to truly understand the doctrines of grace. A couple of years ago the Lord began to put the desire in my heart to evangelize and last year I finally became obedient to that call. 

My first SFOI event was the ‘23 Kentucky Derby. I now evangelize on the streets of downtown Nashville (where I currently work) as often as I can.  I have been married to my wife Susan since 2010, and we live in Manchester, Tennessee, where we attend Rutledge Falls Baptist Church.
