Since becoming a Christian in 1994, I have not found a better venue for Christian growth and encouragement than what I have experienced with SFOI outreaches. These events are not like a conference where you fill your head with information and don't practice the things taught. At these events you do the work of an evangelist as a team working together in hostile venues. Where you have opportunity to learn from one another, how to love one another by helping one another while doing the work of ministry. It has my joy to work along side seasoned men in the sowing, watering and reaping of the fields the LORD provides. 

Being involved in these events have helped my relationships with my wife, my daughter, other believers, even those with a different understanding, even my patience and compassion towards unbelievers. It has helped my doctrine and my prayers. It has helped me to see the hand of God working in our world. It has increased my thankfulness.

This has been a critical part of my life since 2016 and a time of rest and refreshing every event I attend.
