Gospel Invasion - What is it?
The Gospel Invasion is an event hosted by SFOI, but led by a local evangelist at non-sports events. These events can include a simple coordinated outreach at a particular location or at an event like a concert or festival.
The process for participating and the structure is the same as an SFOI event: registration, accommodations, schedule, teachers, etc. But if you are looking to preach somewhere other than a sporting event then look at the Gospel Invasion Schedule below for opportunities.

Gasparilla Pirate Festival '26
SFOI is looking for 10 evangelists to join the Team to proclaim Christ and minister personally to the fans and local citizens participating and working at Gasparilla Festival activities.
The goal as we evangelize in downtown Tampa, is to minister in the moment to anyone with questions and / or prayer needs and Lord willing refer everyone possible to a Bible teaching church for discipleship.

Cherry Blossom Festival '26
The Cherry Blossom Festival is scheduled for March 20 - April 12, '26 in Washington, DC.
SFOI is looking for evangelists to join the Team to proclaim Christ at the festival. The goal is to evangelize and minister to the festival goers and local citizens as they come and go from the different festival locations.

NO Jazz Festival '26
The NO Jazz Fest is scheduled for April 23- 26, '26 in New Orleans, LA.

Kentucky Derby '26
Lord willing, SFOI will be in Louisville, KY on Apr 30 - May 3, 2026, to preach Christ at Churchill Downs during Kentucky Derby weekend.
The goal is to evangelize and minister to the fans they come and go from fan races at Churchill Downs and the local citizens who are in the area as well.

Blue Crab Festival '26
SFOI is looking for 15 evangelists to join the Team to proclaim Christ at the Little River Blue Crab Festival in May 15-17, 2026 in South Carolina.
The goal is to evangelize and minister to the festival goers and local citizens in Little River as they spend time in the area.

Niagara Falls '26
SFOI Canada is conducting its third training of evangelists May 22-25, 2026.
The goal is for men who have an evangelistic call or passion to join us for these four days in Niagara Falls. You will learn and be exposed to extensive times of prayer and study of God's Word (Acts 6:4); proclamation of Christ in the open air to the souls in Niagara Falls, the distribution of Christian literature and initiating and conducting one on one conversations. Plus extended fellowship.

SFOI is conducting its first SFOI Evangelist Bootcamp June 8 - 12, 2026.
The goal is for men who have an evangelistic call or passion to join us for these five days. You will learn and be exposed to extensive times of prayer and study of God's Word (Acts 6:4); proclamation of Christ in the open air, the distribution of Christian literature and initiating and conducting one on one conversations. Red, White and Boom! '26

Taste of Chicago food festival takes place in Grand Park, Chicago, and throughout the city and is estimated to take place in Mid Summer '26.
Lord willing, SFOI will be there and is looking for evangelists to join the team to preach the Gospel to the festival attendees and local citizens; minister to them in the moment and potentially refer them to a Bible teaching church or ministry for disciples.

Spring Tour: New England Colleges '26
SFOI is planning, Lord willing, to reach out at various colleges in the New England region (New England is a northeastern region of the United States comprising the states of Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island).
There will be preaching at the various college campuses from September 9 - 12. '26 and SFOI is looking for evangelists to join the team.
If you are a present open air Gospel preacher or want to begin, pray about joining the Team for 5 days of prayer, fellowship and ministry to college students.

Lord willing, SFOI will be at the Circleville Pumpkin Show, October 21-24, in downtown Circleville, OH. Crowds of 500,000 attend from all over the US attend annually.
