Millenium Park Evangelism: March 22nd
On March 22nd, Covenant’s Youth Group joined our outreach, along with believers from Moody, Lynwood URC, MARS, our Bible study, and elsewhere. We had a total of 34 people, including baby Micaiah, making this our second-largest outreach to date. We split into groups of 2-3 and evangelized people from multiple nations and from all over America. But as a PCA pastor once said, ‘it is better to train a soul winner than merely win souls.’ It is deeply encouraging that many shared the gospel with a stranger for the first time that day. After evangelism, we split into two groups and debriefed over pizza on the 21st and 26th floors of nearby buildings, thanks to two gracious hosts.
If you could not attend this larger outreach, we will be hosting other large outreaches on April 19th and May 10th in partnership with Grace OPC Hanover Park. Additionally, on May 5th, Dr. Watkin’s evangelism class at MARS will be evangelizing with us. These are great opportunities to join us in the city if you are interested!
