Purdue University home game

The Purdue team (Elijah, Alan , Steve in background) Not pictured Pastor Matt and Everett. Many gospel conversations and many tracts handed out. Also mocking and scoffers and spiritual warfare- even so- the gospel was preached.

10s of thousands of people heard.

God even provided a man of peace - Christians- who provided parking. We were able to talk to this Christian couple and encourage him and his wife  even as they encouraged us.

Thank you God for my team- free parking- and ears to hear!!

Evangelist who joined: Everett

Preach and handed out tracts. No gospel conversation but a paramedic sat on the back bumper of the ambulance and listen to me preach for almost 2 hours and thank me for preaching God Word.

Everett who listen to me preach two weeks ago when Purdue played Notre Dame asked my wife Mary how he could do what we were doing. Mary gave Everett my phone number and he called me two days later. This was his first time in the public handing out gospel tracts.

Above: “This is Everett who join me today and who I am going to join on campus in apologetic. He listen to me preach two weeks ago before I got kicked out by the police. He was very fearful today but felt better by the end. He froze on the rejection of people receiving gospel tracts from him. He is only a year in his profession of faith. Keep praying for him as his heart is to tell people about Jesus. He went to a Christian school as an atheist. Than begin to really look at the evidence of Christ and came to the decision by faith Jesus is God after his senior year in high school.”

The brother who was going to evangelize with me wife had their child born prematurely a couple weeks ago with health complications and is not able to join me at this time. The members of his church ( Purdue students has back out also afraid they may offend Purdue university officials by open air preaching because they got an open platform on campus for debate). So I was by myself.

 It went well for being by myself but not without God as I handed out gospel tracts the first hour and preach about a hour and a half. I had no trouble with law enforcement or school officials. Had a couple God moments with getting parking which is not convenient at Purdue. The police was near me at all times as I evangelized.

 As for pictures I really don't have any significant ones. While the crowds picked up I preach and when it was slow I handed out maybe 100 gospel tracts and had a couple conversations with believers. So an uneventful report but I know God was working on the paramedic who was parked in front of me most of the time. God put her on my heart and I was unable to leave my spot to go talk to her. Then after handing out tracts for 30 minutes or so she came walking straight towards me and asked for a tract. I gave her a tract and she went back doing her job. Later I seen her reading the gospel tract and when I was preaching she was listening but I never got an opportunity to talk to her.

Also at the end of my preaching right at the start of the game a deacon of the Catholic church was reading that morning in Jeremiah, I think he was alluding to chapter 7 but not sure because he said the prophet was standing outside the gates of the temple and proclaimed the Word of the Lord. So he concluded what I was doing as biblical and thank me. He then left to go to the game.
