Thankful to labor with Scott Roney today in Auburn.

10/30 - Scott Roney in Auburn today loving his neighbor at the Ole Miss game.

Thankful, really thankful for the grace to hear His Word proclaimed to sinners and to myself. God is faithful.

10/9 - Road Trip!

“I appreciate your message, even though I was ragging you” (paraphrased). As we were walking back to our vehicle, a lady we passed by said that. Apparently she had said something to us when we were preaching earlier and felt the need to apologize, sort of. I guess that is what she was attempting to do. Maybe her conscience was bothering her.

UGA was on the road this past Saturday, traveling to Auburn to take on the Auburn Tigers. Scott Phillips and I decided to drive down to preach with some other brothers that preach there on a regular basis.

Scott and I set up on the sidewalk beside Toomer's Drugs and as Scott began to preach I offered Gospel tracts to those passing by. Hundreds of fans passed our location in the 2 hours or so that we preached and gave away Gospel tracts. There were several people that expressed their thankfulness that we were there and as usual a few were not so glad.

There were some others across the street and down a few blocks preaching as well. Two other SBO Outreach team leaders were also there. Ben Cohen had a team there and Mark Yoho was also there.

I had not been to Auburn in decades and it was good to be there sharing the best news in the universe!

Report by Alex Burt,

His team members covered game in David's absence.

9/11 - The Lord is kind. Laboring today with these wonderful people, my son Jonathan, Chase and his daughter, and Suok. Many heard of their need for Christ through the Law and Christ magnified through the Gospel. God graciously showed His abundant mercy and steadfast love to us and so many today.

Blessed to have had some other Christians walk up who were witnessing themselves. Was encouraged and was able to pray with them and encourage with them in Word. We all saw how this work given is not just for the sinner, but for our benefit.  Praise the Lord!

9/4 - Scott Roney report:  I was, however, very encouraged as I was joined unexpectedly by some other believers in passing out tracts and public, personal testimony. One group of students, on their way to game, asked for microphone and shared their hearts for Jesus to their peers.   SCOTT
