Game Summaries
1/22/22 - Long Live the King!
This divisional playoff game was an interesting night to preach the Gospel. With a lot of night games at Lambeau we have lively fans and this was no different. With packer fans it doesn’t matter what the weather is like, they will be out to support the team. We had four brothers sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the packers and 49ers fans, Duane Schneider, Mike Henke and Heath Pucel at our ministry spot. Doug Schoenwalder was at the corner he usually ministers.
We preached about the reasons to praise the King from Psalm 67, Psalm 53 and John 3. We had a lot of encouragement from fans thanking us for being out there. One encounter with lady who stopped at first and stated this was not the place and then came back and wanted to know the motivation for us to be out there. After a few minutes of dialogue her friend pulled her away.
The main tone for the night for the fans was the promise and faith in the temporary King, Aaron Rodgers. What a heartbreaking thought to think of the temporary king and Savior who can let you down in a heartbeat. And as I reflect on the outreach, their King and Savior is not able to rule or save. But the one worthy to be praised is the same yesterday, today and forever.
Mike Henke did have a brief conversation with a young man after kickoff who said he was Lutheran and really seemed disinterested in talking about the things of God. Pray for him that his heart would be on fire for His Savior and King.
12/25 - Gospel Preaching announcing the Greatest gift needed but not wanted.
What a blessed opportunity to preach the Christmas day Packer game. With many of the team with family and friends celebrating Christmas. I had a conviction to preach no matter what. With the setting perfectly handed to us a Packer game on Christmas. Singing hymns and preaching on the birth of our Savior and coming again as the conquering King. Many fans were respectful and continued to greet me with “Merry Christmas.” There was one fan who was dressed like Jesus with a Happy Birthday sash over his shoulder and many fans told me Jesus was here. He stopped and I asked what he was doing and he said spreading the good news and I asked him if this is what Jesus looked like and then challenged him that it would be better to share the Gospel rather than walk around dressed like blasphemously; He agreed.
I had been preaching for a while and I noticed a gentlemen drop a backpack off to the side of me and then open it up and start to take out tracts. It happened to be Dave, a good friend of another brothers who said he had no plans for Christmas and decided to some out and pass out tracts. Many fans took the tracts and we pray the Holy Spirit would convict them of Sin righteous and judgement.
12/12 - Gospel Preaching brings Gospel conversations
With the Packers doing well this season and a Sunday night game, the mixture was set up for an interesting night and it did not disappoint. Lots of tracts distributed and many fans acknowledging their encouragement (positively and otherwise) for being out there as well as recognizing the faithful constancy of us being there.
Dan Walczyk, Greg Fischer and Gary were near the stadium, as people cross from their tailgating and parking areas to the stadium, passing out stoplight preaching as they cross the intersection. From their report, lots of tracts went out and the Gospel proclaimed as fans entered into Lambeau Field.
Dan Davis, Mike Henke and Heath Pucel were at our normal ministry spot on Armed Forces Way preaching the glorious birth and incarnation of Jesus Christ as the greatest gift to mankind needed but not wanted. With the preaching message set, the crowd reacted to the Gospel as it was hearing the message. While Dan was preaching, a fan came up to enter into a discussion as a result of the preaching and Dan stepped down to talk with him. While Dan was in a longer discussion the man eventually slapped the Bible out of Dans hand and kicked it a few feet away and then left. The crowd that was there, reacted with “Hey! That’s not right!”
Then while Heath was preaching, a professing believer who did not like the preaching pulled the cord from the speaker and then went to walk away. Heath followed and engaged him and he was describing that people needed to hear that God loves them and encouraging them, they didn’t need to feel guilty about who they are. This entered into a 30 minute conversation where another fan walking by and was summoned by the professing believer for his defense started defending Heath as the heckler was not interested in a civil conversation.
While Heath returned to preaching another fan tried to pull the gospel sign off the light pole. Overall the Gospel went forth and accomplished exactly what God had set out to accomplish through the preaching.
SPECIAL MESSAGE from Heath:

I will be there around 4:30pm on Armed Forces Drive near the Don Hutson Center. For parking, we are able to use Highland Crest Baptist Church lot.
If you can make it, it is imperative to let me know! Let's lift up the saving message of Jesus Christ. If you are unable to make it, please be in prayer for us as well as the many fans who hear the name of Christ proclaimed.
If you have any questions, please let Heath know, I can be reached at 920-423-5676.
11/28 - We had 4 evangelists, in two different areas of Lambeau field. This was a different crowd as this was a gold package game (mainly Milwaukee ticket holders) who attend a couple of the games a year. Lots of tracts distributed and many fans acknowledging their encouragement for being out there as well as recognizing the faithful constancy of us being there.
Dan Walczyk, was near the stadium, as people cross from their tailgating and parking areas to the stadium, passing out stoplight preaching as they cross the intersection.
Greg Fischer, Mike Henke and Heath Pucel were at our normal ministry spot on Armed Forces Way preaching the glorious birth and incarnation of Jesus Christ on the first Sunday of Advent. What a glorious time of the year to sing theologically rich hymns and expound on the fullness of time where God sent forth His son to redeem the world. While Heath was preaching, Mike talked to a fan who stopped as a result of the preaching. Mike recounted that he was broken and in tears as Mike was talking to him but it may have been a worldly sorrow. May God grant this man goldy sorrow and repentance leading to salvation.
11/14 - We had 10 evangelists, with three being new, proclaiming Christ and we have expanded to three different areas of Lambeau field. What a blessing to have God answer prayers for more laborers for the harvest.
Dan Walczyk, Gary and Greg Fischer, Doug Schoenwalder and Brett Hatch, both teams were preaching to fans coming to the stadium from opposite corners of the road. They had about 1-5 minutes where fans are parked on the corner, to preach the Gospel to upwards of 200 fans at a t time.
Dan Davis, Kevin Odgers, Nick and Sabrina Jensen, David Berg and Heath Pucel were at our normal ministry spot on Armed Forces Way preaching the wisdom from Ecclesiastes to the packer crowd for 3 hours. Nick and Sabrina had some good conversations with fans and even reconnected with a college friend to share the Gospel with him. Dave also was engaging in conversation resulting from reactions to the preaching. God has continually been moving in this outreach.
10/24 - We had 8 evangelists proclaiming Christ in three different areas of Lambeau field. Dan Walczyk and Greg Fischer, Doug Schoenwalder and Brett Hatch, both teams we preaching to fans coming to the stadium from opposite corners of the road. They had about 1-5 minutes where fans are parked on the corner, to preach the Gospel to upwards of 200 fans at a time.
Dan Davis, Trey, David Berg and Heath Pucel were at our normal ministry spot on Armed Forces Way preaching on the worthiness of the Lamb from Revelation and wisdom from Ecclesiastes.

10/3 - Here is the report from the October 3rd Packer Game.
They say that many hands make light work. Yet many faithful laborers accomplish God’s work. Blessed to have Greg Fischer, Dan Davis, Trey, Doug Schoenwalder and myself preaching and passing out tracts to a packed packer crowd. Many tracts went out which was a first. There were several people from the crown while I was passing out tracts acknowledging our constancy with comments like, “There are the Jesus people,” “They are always here.” One lady walked passed and took a tract and stated “ I need it.” May she read it and the Holy spirit open her heart and mind to repentance. Also many encouragements from believers.
