The Lord filled Auburn with the preaching of the Word and the praising of His name.

Today has proven to be one of the most remarkable times I have experienced in Auburn while witnessing.
A young man approached me and asked me about my favorite verse to sum up the Gospel. I told him Romans 5:6-8. I shared how it amazes me the Lord would love ungodly people, yet He as, for He has loved me.
As I went out today, I prayed for more of those conversations where all I had to do was talk about who Christ is and what He had done. The Lord answered my prayers.
From a lady hearing and coming over to talk, confess the sin she struggled with, and listen to the Gospel. It was so good to worship the Lord.
Later a husband who had an argument with his wife walked up and received some marriage counseling..."You need to love your wife as Christ has loved the church."
Even had a Hindu stop and talk.
Lastly, a young kid parked and listened for about 10 min and confessed sin, how unloving he has been. We talked about hating sin, loving Christ more than anything, honoring parents, being respectful, being pure and making no provision for the flesh, but depending on the Lord to help you do it all.
He asked some good questions, has some good concern.
The Lord is gracious!
My prayer was answered.
After our time at Toomer's Corner, a day filled with preaching, passing out tracts, some conversations, a dear brother graciously invited us to his home, where his wife had prepared a delightful lunch.
We gathered together, we prayed, we laughed, and we exchanged accounts of missionaries. He was much older than us and gifted us with those stories told by an old man who has walked with the Lord longer than some of us have been alive.
One joy when he took us out to his barn, showed us these two where he goes to pray. "One chair is mine, the other belongs to Jesus."
It was true fellowship, the kind that nourishes the soul, reminding us of the richness of our shared life in Christ.
Pray for open doors to preach the Gospel and you will be praying the will of God.

The Lord is kind in all His ways. Many listened, some took tracts while a few scoffed. Some were gracious believers—but many are still lost. A pastor and his wife heard the preaching, came over, and kindly bought me a drink and encouraged me in the Lord.
Earlier, I had a conversation with two men who were supporting homosexuality and abortion. One of them laughed while twisting the Word of God. It was then that the Lord sent Hunter and Dalton, who were curious about the abortion sign. I joined their conversation, which led to sharing the Law and the Gospel, and even the two men who initially scoffed sat and listened. This was God’s kindness to all of them—to hear about the greatest demonstration of love the world has ever known: the Cross of Christ.
Please pray for Hunter and Dalton, and especially for the two men who support abortion, as they are here every game and have heard the truth numerous times. May the Lord wake them from their slumber.
Praise the Lord! Go out, share the Gospel, and have great conversations, telling others of all the Lord has done. The fields are ripe for harvest, and God is faithful to use every moment for His glory.

One of the joys you experience from being consistent is seeing and meeting the same people over and over. And in ministry, this helps grow fellowship and trust with law enforcement and those who work the games.
Today I had a friend who is in charge at the events around town, who sees me all the time, every year. He approached me today smiling, asking if I was keeping every straight and went to ask me to pray for his ailing wife. We prayed on the spot for her. What a testimony of what the Lord does, isn't He kind?
Go and own your city, claim it through the preaching of the Cross for Christ. Be your cities John the Baptist, be its Paul, its Whitfield.
Own it, preach Jesus to the city.

When people come up to me, and they did, interrupting the preaching to make sure that I knew football is not a sin, I agree, football is not a sin.
Surrounding the game, the festivities, sin manifest itself...

The crowds in Auburn this season have been great and many have heard the Gospel. It is great to be encouraged by Bill Adams and Alex Bert with Sports Fan Outreach to go and preach outside the ball games. Men and women all across the country are at games every Saturday preaching! If you watched the game on Saturday, many of those in the stands heard the Word before going in!
Amazing that the Lord gives us opportunities to worship Him, to worship Him! Evangelism is Worship! We all know we should gather with the saints, we should pray, but oh friends, to worship Him through telling others who He is and what He has done alongside fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, it is revival in our souls!
Think of all the people who even today may be mindful of the Lord from hearing some street preacher or someone sharing with them at the job, school, etc.
Go and Tell others, worship Him!

I have not loved God with all my heart, none of us have. But God through Jesus Christ saves us, saves sinners. He does not save those who have loved Him, He saves those whom He loves. John 3:16
What a Gospel to preach, not knowing who it is becoming the Power of God to, but knowing the same Gospel Paul preached, Steven preached, the same faith Abraham believed in is the same faith and Gospel that saved me. Praise the Lord!
