Game Summaries
Bobby McCreery - It was a great privilege to labor alongside these saints at the outreach to the #KentuckyDerby22 fans with @sportsfanoutreach please pray the Lord would increase the seeds planted and watered to the praise of His glory. Thank you Lord and thank you team. I hope we can do it all again next year.
Jordan Wilkins - A great opportunity Wilkins Videos had to be a part of. Thank you, Bill Adams and #SportsFanOutreachInternational and #AletheiaMinistries. For preaching the gospel to the Lost during the #KentuckyDerby22! Thank you, Pastor Paul and the Beechmont Baptist congregation for housing us!
Clay Hall - I have ministered at the Kentucky Derby only twice:
The first time was in 2019. I was a bundle of nerves. It was my first time doing this time of street evangelism and starting at the Kentucky Derby is like being thrown into the deep end of the pool to learn how to swim. I was desperately dependant on strength from the Lord. My most memorable moment was at the end when I held a sign quoting Jesus’ words from John 14:6 for thousands to read as they exited Churchill Downs shoulder to shoulder. I said hardly a word for an hour and a half as people paraded out under the voice of powerful preaching from my fellow co-laborers.
The second time was in 2022 -just this past weekend. I now had three years of street evangelism under my belt and knew what to expect. By God’s grace, He reminded me that apart from Him, I am nothing and He gave me a sense of desperate dependence once again. And I needed it because this time, instead of letting a sign do the talking, I, along with a few other brothers, was called upon to preach to the thousands that exited the racetrack.
Along with me holding the sign in 2019, this preaching experience was tied for the most memorable highlight of my public Gospel ministry thus far. I cannot describe the sense of God’s pleasure that I felt ministering the Gospel to thousands at once. The closest I can come is to call it a “Holy Spirit-fueled adrenaline rush.” God is so good, y’all!
The Lord truly drove this Scripture home to me this weekend:
2 Corinthians 5:11-15, “Therefore, knowing the fear of the Lord, we persuade others. . . . For if we are beside ourselves, it is for God; if we are in our right mind, it is for you. For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died; and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised.”
Stirling Long - Memorable two days of Open Air Preaching with 28 other Evangelists from all the USA, who descended on Churchill Downs for this years 148th running of the Kentucky Derby. “And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15 NKJV
Jordan Wilkins was live - Witnessing down at Churchill Downs: Kentucky Derby
Jeremy Johnson - Preaching at Churchill Downs Kentucky Derby
Open Air Ministries - Pray for us as we begin day two a proclaiming Jesus Christ at the Kentucky Derby.

Tristan Mullane: Preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ today at the Kentucky Derby with Sports Fan Outreach #sfoi
Brothers and sisters in Christ pray for us !
“And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
Philippians 2:8-11
Stirling Long is in Louisville, Kentucky: Sam Harris Open Air Preaching at this year’s Kentucky Derby. “because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.”Romans 1:21 NKJV
Brad Madewell: Praise the Lord for His Gospel going forth today in Louisville. A ministry team of 29 of us went out today sharing the Word of God at the Derby today. Some Gospel conversations and a lot of ridicule but that is the true Gospel in a nutshell. Thanks for the prayers as we continue to share the Hope of Christ this weekend.
Stirling Long is at Churchill Downs: Brother Joe Toy Open Air Preaching today at the Derby. “The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. As it is written in the Prophets: “Behold, I send My messenger before Your face, Who will prepare Your way before You.” Mark 1:1-2 NKJV
Open Air Ministries - Joe Toy: The battle for souls begins as the crowds begin to flow into the derby.
Video - Alex Burt - Montage of the evangelists on Mark Yoho's team and my team preaching as the nearly 150,000 race fans leave the Derby. I failed to get footage of Dan and Greg. There are snippets of everyone else on our teams.
